This information has been invaluable. I have encountered one challenge when trying to use this example. I have a schedule using the time format which this strategy works beautifully HOWEVER there are instances where a row in the column of times will have text which causes error messages. I have been unsuccessful testing for TEXT or NUMBER to successfully total a these columns of arrival and departure times. Any thoughts? I need an ARRAY "=(IF(AND(ISNUMBER(I10),ISNUMBE­R(H10)),MOD(I10-H10,1),0)"

Holy crap (excuse the language) - You should see all the rigamarole I've come with up to partially work around this TIME problems in excel - Thank you so much for the tip - the only appropriate response "I can think of is WHERE Have YOU been ALL of My Life!!!" thanks again
