The cruelty and heartlessness of Suleiman's actions are a stain on the very fabric of humanity.
And for what? What was the crime that warranted such a severe punishment? Was it simply a case of palace politics, a ruthless elimination of a potential rival? The thought sends shivers down my spine.
As I close my eyes, I see the ghost of Mustafa, his spirit wandering the empty corridors of the palace, searching for justice, for peace. And I am left with a deep sense of sorrow, a sense of loss for the promise that was never fulfilled, for the life that was cut short by the hand of tyranny.
Suleiman, the great and powerful Sultan, may have won the throne, but he lost his soul in the process. And as I write these words, my heart heavy with grief, I am reminded that true greatness is not measured by the power one wields, but by the compassion and mercy one shows to others.
