I don't normally comment; but, the 1776 compels me. First: a sincere thank you to all of those who have served and are serving. Second: I took the oath (5 U.S. Code § 3331 - Oath of office). And am willing and ready to fulfill it, "...against all enemies, foreign and domestic..." We never thought they would be domestic. Dang.
o7 I thank you for your service. And seriously! I sincerely hope you never, _ever_ have to fight domestic. I sadly don't see it going any other way unless both sides of the aisle can come together during this administration to try to fix the issue.
At 13:02 - when I was an electrical engineer for Alcoa, we used to see a lot of Great Lakes Carbon covered hoppers bringing calcined petroleum coke to our smelter east of Evansville IN for making the electrodes used in the electrolytic smelting process for aluminum (aluminium for our Canadian buddies). The reporting mark used to be “GLCX”.
There is no "NI" in Aluminum!!! By Monty Python and The Department of Silly Word Mispronunciations amongst the English Speaking Nations of the Planet 🌏 Earth. Now, try CONTROVERSY, with " 'CON-tra-'VER-sy" in the American colonies, versus "con-TROV-ersy" back in the U.K. LOL LOL. hi in sept., 2021, a.d. GOD BLESS US EVERYONE!!
Long ago and not so far away, the formal name of Alcoa’s Canadian subsidiary was first “Northern Aluminum Limited”, then “Aluminium Limited”, and then “Alcan Aluminium Limited” (once the executives and banks who owned about 45% of both Alcoa and Alcan were required to sell their holdings in one of the two companies after 1951). I suspect that when we spun off “Aluminium Limited” in 1928, we decided to go with the “Commonwealth spelling” of our metal to appeal to the Brits.
@@Mikey300 Thank you for the clarification. I certainly didn't know that but makes sense with our strong Commonwealth ties before the 1950s. Today one gets corrected if it is referred to as aluminium. Business News Network host in Toronto originally from Ireland has trouble with this. As I stated no one uses that. Part of the American influence, I suppose.
@@henkkhrr5306 I will defer to your local knowledge of the pronunciation of my favorite metal in Ontario. I wonder whether les Quebecois use ‘aluminium” or “aluminum”? Now we need video of flatcars loaded with aluminum sheet ingot (aka “rolling slab”), as I was surprised to see last summer rolling along the Conemaugh Line toward Pittsburgh.

You have to look at CP's SD70ACu for those, they did one for each branch of the Canadian military if I recall correctly. They look way better than what CSX did as well, in my opinion.

For clarification, I don't know any Canadians that say Aluminium, Everyone here (Ontario) says Aluminum. That is a UK word

In regards to the last engine would you happen to know if they may have made a engine for each branch of the Armed Forces or just this one
Think that's the only one

All the train companies have them for the military. They also have them for first responders too
