I've watched the new show once it's so dumb I used to enjoy Eds rebuilding a vehicle.
I vow never to watch it again.
Edd China is a legend.
With Edd China gone, I have zero interesting in the program.
Top brass thought his "tech stuff" was too much.

Dealers and Repair shops want you to pay them $1,800 for two wheel bearing installations and front brakes. (L 1,405) They don't like guys like Edd China showing the viewing public their secrets and how to do it yourself. The only skinny for me is that I don't have a hydraulic lift, a paint shop nearby, nor deep pockets of financing. I surely hope that all the Episodes of Wheeler Dealers do not suddenly disappear from UA-cam. Velocity sucks and they must be in bed with someone sinister to up and BUY A PROGRAM ONLY TO $#&# RUIN IT ! !

Just watched the episode for the VW camper van. Edd done a marvellous job. Loved the colour and the shots of the lovely isle of white.
I love both you and edd I have nothing but well wishes for you both you have both taken time out of your lives to give us all plenty of years of happiness and I love you both

All the best Mike with the new show, and all the best to Ed too. Any sensible human who is a car enthusiast will understand that Mike is happy with the new format but that Ed wouldn't be happy with reduced workshop time.

I blame the velocity channel for destroying Wheeler Dealers.they wanted to knock Edd's time down, sorta dumbing it down in my books.i wish both the blokes the best and let's put the kettle on.

I feel the same as many others, Mike was all right buying selling cars with his signature catch phrase 'Put out your hand, you just sold/bought a car'. But is was EDD who gave us our education, and facts of the auto world as he removed this bit and replaced the part. Yes Mike was the funny guy and EDD was the straight guy and the combo brought us a laugh and an education. I do believe with .out EDD the chemistry is gone and so is the show! Sad because they are two very talented people
mike's first TV debut was ... Auto trader.. we're people were selling their cars and mike and his CO presenter ... hold them.how much it's worth.. that was a good show too

Brewer is at heart an opportunist , his passion for cars has got him this far , he was always the weak link in the chain , he has no idea about the nuts and bolts of repairing and doesn`t want to know . If any one of the duo should of been replaced , it should of been him.

I apologise on behalf of my fellow countrymen, it's a telly show about cars for goodness sake, people need to get all bitchy about real world issues maybe, who knows what the future holds but cheers for some good shows.

Sorry to interrupt! My elderly aunt has a large collection of Motor Sports magazine dating back to 1943. They were collected and lovingly kept in very good condition by her late husband who was an engineer and a car enthusiast. She doesn't want to keep them as she's looking to downsize her home. She's giving them away for free to anyone who's willing to pick them up at her home (she lives in north London), sending them via post is not practical as they are quite heavy and she's not able to manage it. Mike, I was sad to learn you and Edd are going different ways on Wheeler Dealer. Nothing lasts forever and this gives you both opportunities. I've enjoyed the show for years, so I'll be looking forward to what's next. And ignore the haters...some people can't get over themselves.

I have met them both and and they are lovely working class people who have worked hard all of their lives to get where they are today. Michelle IS NOT A GOLD DIGGER she has been with Mike for years when they had hardly a penny and had to skip meals.

I can't understand so many negative comments. Ive watched Mike and Ed for years and have a production background, so perhaps my view is shaped by that. Mikes positive attitude was a major reason for watching the show, and it's successful formula with Ed made - and STILL makes great Television.
I wish both of them (indeed all involved) great success in the future. Thank you ALL for making our lives a lot better.
Mike, you should support edd from case that WD contructor not change then edd comeback to WD.

good luck Mike. I don't blame you for selling out while edd stuck to what got you two there in the first place. I've watched every episode. it was a ritual even my wife could break. the only reason was the simpicity (and humor) that the two of you provided. To say the "format" was difficult is a copout. how hard was it really? you were doing it just fine a decade ago. I do wish you, and your wife, the best in the future. maybe I'll check the new show out. maybe.
