Have you ever tried freezing the bushings/pins before you install them? When I install spherical bearings on aircraft I stick them in the freezer for several hours, or even better the day before. Makes them go in super easy.
Enjoyable video, Andy. The job Sarah did on the black part of the hood was so good, it kind of overshadowed the red. Too busy noticing the black to care about the red! The press work was pretty interesting. Ever watch the "Hydraulic Press Channel"? He does some crazy sh..tuff on there! Thanks Andy!

I was taught to put a wide bead of weld the length of the bushing. They usually fall out with one or two beads on opposite sides although I have had it take up to 4 beads.
Andy , Apparently you can't have Trump stickers on your cars in Casanova .... They just arrest Phillip Brothers for keying a car down here in Florida....The vehicle had a Lets go Bradon sticker .
'Chuck'bought a Vevor mag drill,it's a POS!! The variable speed is a joke-it just shuts voltage to the motor so slowing it makes it stall.Also you cannot reverse the handle,and the cutters are not the normal style.I paid a grand for my Fein and I'll stick with it-

Polishing a sterling is like polishing a turd 💩.
WOULD THE BUSHING HAVE GONE IN MORE EASILY IF YOU HAD PLACED IT IN THE FREEZER FOR AWHILE.
I bought the complete arm assembly off of Amazon for just a little more than what the bushing cost. Been 3 years and I have no complaints
I bought air bags that were a lot cheaper off of eBay or Amazon and all 8 ended blowing….
And that was after having to find the right fittings to go in them if I remember correctly
