I'm looing to buy a new bike next month, and my last 3 bikes were supersixes. Now I'm in doubt between the Cervélo Soloist, the Colnago V3, the new Cannondale Supersix and the gen 8 Madone (with electronic sram rival or 105). Your videos made me a little more inclined to the Madone.

Thank you for this review. I test rode this exact bike today. I’m considering buying the SLR version of this. Do you know if it could take 32 mm tires? Trek website says it could but my local bike shop said it would be pushing it with 32 mm and said 30 mm might be a safer max tire option. I’m more into comfort than speed (coming from a Domane). So I prefer 32 over 30. If 32 would be rubbing against the frame then I’ll stay with 30s. Thanks again for the review!

Whoa! $55,500 bike. I guess this would not be available on their website, huh! The highest price I see is $14,000 for a Gen 8
