“On & Off” - Words of the Week, Modeling Using A Core Board (AAC Device) To Teach Vocabulary

Principal Charlie Jett presents the word(s) of the week and models the use of core boards (a type of augmentative communication device (AAC device), which incorporates core vocabulary with simple imagery of words. Core boards allow students who struggle with verbal communication to communicate with their peers and help create an inclusive school (or any) environment where everyone feels they belong.
