quick correction: Nolan Siegel did compete for Dale Coyne Racing at Long Beach, driving car 51, so this would actually be his second points-paying IndyCar Series race, should he qualify

She may be decent at other tracks but based on last year, I’m concerned. She broke Wilson’s back because she was the only one who didn’t realize everyone else was checking up, then she almost ran over a crew member by crashing into the wall when she couldn’t even get out of the pits with no other cars around her. I don’t think Indy is for her. Right now my best wishes are she don’t injure someone else or kill someone.

The graphics of this video are awesooome, showing the liveries very well. And talking about liveries : my favorite is the one from Marcus Ericsson, followed by Colton Herta, Romain Grosjean, Conor Daly, Santino Ferrucci and Scott MacLaughlin (which brings back memories of the iconic wins of Johnny Rutherford and Rick Mears back in the 1980s). It's a bummer that Stephen Wilson isn't an entry, considering what happened to him last year. His car looked really strong before he got wiped out, I hope he gets another opportunity in the future.

Indy brings the casual race fan into the game….whether they watch any other race or not…they come to party!
One small storyline is Penske has the opportunity to join Hoosier, Ray Nichels as the only car owner to have cars on the pole for both Daytona and Indy in the same year. Ray did this in 1957 (on the beach) with Cotton Owens and Indy with Pat O’Connor.

Have no idea about anything regarding the Indy 500 but I'm checking it out this year. Seems interesting.
Anyone wondering the drivers that could win both Le Mans and Indy 500 this year are (brackets show Le Mans car entry):
Callum Illot (#12 Jota Porsche), Scott Dixon (#3 Cadillac Racing), Alex Palou (#2 Cadillac Racing), Romain Grosjean (#19 Iron Lynx Lamborghini).
Then highly unlikely to win due to not being in the Hypercar class: Nolan Siegel (#22 United Autosports LMP2), Kyffan Simpson (#24 Nielsen Racing LMP2)
My ❤ is with Satosan, Helio, Graham, and Santucci. 🏎🏎🏎🏎
As clunky as the Indycar schedule is, I'm enjoying it a lot this year. Love the May process leading to the big race as well!

0:22 I did not realize Yum! Brands sponsored Marco Andretti's 2006 Indy 500 car until just now. Weird that they would have the parent company's logo on the car instead of one of their brands that consumers would be more likely to relate to (KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, etc.), but I guess the idea was that it was the NYSE car and the target audience for advertisement on that car was potential investors more so than the consumer who's going to buy the food.

Im curious to see what Marcus Ericsson does in this 500. Should we get to a dozen laps left and the dude is in the mix up in the top 6 or so; he'll definitely be seen as a potential winner for every year after. The fact that outside forces snatched him from his 2nd Indy win is already unfortunate. But just imagine if he was to win this year and thus could have been immortalized as a three-peater.
