For those who don't understand wtf is going on: This is recap of the events that led to the Infinity event of last year. This was a culmination of Act 4 and several Event Quests. Thanos understands that ISO-8 can create the Battlerealm's versions of the Infinity Stones: Genesis, Chaos, War, Evolution, Nightmare, and Death which happen to be the 6 modes Infinity Thanos had. In order of their appearance in MCOC: Genesis was created from Maestro (Act4), Evolution was created from Dark Phoenix (EQ), War was created from Dormammu (EQ), Nightmare was created from MODOK (EQ), Chaos was found(?) by Stark Enhanced Spiderman which you can see him trying to keep it away from Thanos in the Mad Titan's Wrath cinematic, and finally Death was from Hela which was used by Proxima and Corvus to trap the champions so that Thanos could collect the stones without any interruptions. There were cutscenes after each of these quests that hinted at what was to come. It was a mess, but I think they did sort of try to explain it a bit in their motion comics and stuff.
I think the collector was where the chaos stone came from cause he’s often associated with the reality stone in the comics and chaos derives from reality
