Thank you so much for talking about PCOS, polycystic ovarian syndrome! Seeing wonderful, beautiful, successful women who have what I have, and are thriving, gives me hope on the rough days ❤
I am from Nepal and i watch each and every one of your video . And i was awestruck to see a woman from Nepal itslef . ❤❤❤❤lots of love . You are my inspiration
She is so gorgeous! I would love to see a Filipino or other southeast Asian woman like me in this channel. I think south and southeast Asians are so underrepresented in media! Very refreshing to see representation in this channel. Yet another reason to love Violette ❤️
I really think it is very interesting about the skin color. A little bit green, yellow and grey. It's really incredible makeup artist know what skin tone you are and what color suits you the most.
Arpana is so beautiful! I'm from India and I have a similar skin tone that's so hard to find a match or good colours. But she's so beautiful even without the make up. And I love jer jewellery. Violette, thank you for keeping your channel so diverse and approachable.
i can't even explain how much more i have fallen in love with the channel! showcasing so many different types of beauty- these are the videos everyone needs to watch! so so excellent
Beautiful makeup. She looks like a elevated version of herself, but still natural. Her jewelry pieces are like a rainbow of color. She's very talented.
Sometimes people break out because their skin is too dry. In that case oil is not bad. Also, a good vitamin C serum + sunscreen is a lifesaver for hyperpigmentation.
Very true. I found that I was stripping my skin of its natural oils with harsh cleansers and my skin would over compensate and produce more oil and cause more breakouts. I started using Aveeno daily cleansers instead and it really helped.
This is very true! I have very dry skin and prior to realising this, I used to think my breakouts were due to clogged pores and oil; thus I used to use spot treatments and moisturisers suited for spot prone/oily skin. With all this my breakouts never stopped. My mother works in dermatology and noticed how dry my skin was when I started wearing less makeup, so she gave me an SPF50 face oil and Crème de la Mer to use daily and threw away (literally) all of the skincare I was using. Within 2 weeks my breakouts stopped, my scarring and hyperpigmentation lessened and my skin was vibrant. Followed by a “mummy knows best”, my mother explained to me how very dry skin is damaged skin and so it is very vulnerable and reactive to internal and environmental factors. Though this is very obvious knowledge, breakouts being induced by dry skin was not as it is typical to hear “oil=spots”!
I have been binge watching your videos and you have changed my outlook on makeup so much! The thing I am most amazed about is that you use Double Wear foundation that most people use so full coverage like a mask but the way you apply it is super natural!!! Thank you 🙏
Violette, I would love to see a video about colours in clothes and make up that fit pale olive skin with green and grey undertones. It's a constant struggle especially considering that I am not good with colours at all. I have not yet to see a good video about it on UA-cam. Thank you, love your channel very much.
I have the same issue. I'm from Finland, very pale and after searching for 10 years for a good foundation with right shade is never-ending I guess. But what Violette says about pink complimenting I agree. I find that soft, pale and blush colors work the best. I always get compliments when I wear my pale pink blouse because it fits my skintone.
you know what I love about violette? it's that diversity is natural to her. she is a true cosmopolitan and clearly a very evolved Being. thank you for existing, Violette!
I cannot express how much I love this channel. It celebrates our differences and all kinds of beauty. It makes me feel good and beautiful. The rhythm, the conversation... Thank you, Violette.
The world all around us is filled with color, beauty and art. Thank you for reflecting true diversity on your channel. I feel like I'm breathing fresh, ocean air when I watch your channel. Bravo!!
Her jewelry is so beautiful. And so is she!! My goodness. I checked out her website; she is so talented. I would love to see her beautiful photos on IG, but she has not worked on that platform too much yet. She seems to have done very well w/out it.
Tellement joli ! Ça fait du bien de voir quelqu'un qui galère aussi avec de l'acné. Toutes ces femmes uniques me font aimer mes particularités un peu plus chaque jour
Violette wonderful episode , inspiring beautiful guest , thank you for inviting us to be with you while you gave us all this different beauties and way of see life and empowering us to chase our dreams.
Try any Korean good gel-based moisterizer...they know skincare ...even try a sleep mask most can be used during the day...try Mizon or Missha... but 95% of K Beauty is good with no silicone or parabens even try snail products...they work!!...oil is not bad for oily skin, in fact, the reverse
hey, violette, can you explain the skin tones thing? you say, she has green and yellow and grey in her skin..... but how are we supposed to 1) recognise it and 2) neutralise it? as far i know there are only 3 types of undertones - warm, cool, neutral. can you talk about this in a later video?
Wow, this is exactly what I needed to watch. In my 30s, just starting to learn how to wear makeup, and wanting the real natural feel. Both women are so beautiful.
I have acne prone combination skin. Oils saved my skin!!! You just need to find out which one works for you. There are very few medical conditions where you should not use oils.
@@barbilove1698 for me so far work great apricot oil, argan oil, grapeseed oil, pomegrante oil. I havent tried more so far. What hasnt worked is sweet Almond oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, olive oil and for someone reason jojoba oil just doesnt do any good for me. I would still Like to try rosehip oil and buckthorne.
@@elisabethp.783 rosehip and argan are my two faves because I am very acne prone but also get lots of dry patches. I put it on after my moisturiser to lock in the moisture and I only use it at night. I would say if someone who is acne prone doesn't need extra moisture for their skin, there's probably no point adding an oil, just in case
Violette, thanks for inviting women with different skin tones.
You look even more beautiful pregnant!!
You brought out her natural beauty without making her look artificial.

She’s so beautiful her bone structure and her skin 😍
Thank you so much for talking about PCOS, polycystic ovarian syndrome! Seeing wonderful, beautiful, successful women who have what I have, and are thriving, gives me hope on the rough days ❤
thefieldofsilver yea! i would so appreciate if this was talked about more
thefieldofsilver in which part do they speak about this? I'm interested!
She's beautiful, I love her hair and her bone structure ❤️
I am from Nepal and i watch each and every one of your video . And i was awestruck to see a woman from Nepal itslef . ❤❤❤❤lots of love . You are my inspiration

It’s really interesting to hear about the blush complimenting the green skin undertone.
I really think it is very interesting about the skin color. A little bit green, yellow and grey. It's really incredible makeup artist know what skin tone you are and what color suits you the most.
Probably because she's actually an artist so she can pick up on that much easier than someone who only studied makeup.
Ugh she’s such a beauty 😍😍😍😍 so interesting that she’s studying acting. She would be so enigmatic on screen
Makeup is not supposed to change the way you look it's suppose to Enhance it!!! I love what you do violette you inspire me!
Arpana is so beautiful! I'm from India and I have a similar skin tone that's so hard to find a match or good colours. But she's so beautiful even without the make up. And I love jer jewellery. Violette, thank you for keeping your channel so diverse and approachable.
Arpana is such an interesting woman! I love all those incredible women that you always shows us. Plus, the make up is beautiful!
I love how many questions she has, how engaged she is. A perfect guest :)
my God she's beautiful. Her smile! And her whole outfit is incredible.
i can't even explain how much more i have fallen in love with the channel! showcasing so many different types of beauty- these are the videos everyone needs to watch! so so excellent
I love how you have enhanced her beautiful features, without changing her vibe!
Arpana is such an elegant, pure, serene beauty. The kind of beauty that touches your heart.
i love your channel! could you maybe do a make up tutorial for people with hooded eyes?🙈 i have a lot of problems doing eye make up bc of my eyes
Beautiful makeup. She looks like a elevated version of herself, but still natural. Her jewelry pieces are like a rainbow of color. She's very talented.
Wow! She’s so pretty and comes off as so genuine!
Sometimes people break out because their skin is too dry. In that case oil is not bad. Also, a good vitamin C serum + sunscreen is a lifesaver for hyperpigmentation.
serum reccomendations?
I agree! In fact, oil could be helping her skin significantly. It's not something she should necessarily steer clear from.
I also agree. Plus, not all oils clog pores! There isn't a cream or lotion I've found that I could use alone, I can use oil alone or under cream.
Very true. I found that I was stripping my skin of its natural oils with harsh cleansers and my skin would over compensate and produce more oil and cause more breakouts. I started using Aveeno daily cleansers instead and it really helped.

Need more people like Violette in the media, championing for women to love themselves as they are. What a true beauty expert!
Violette, I would love to see a video about colours in clothes and make up that fit pale olive skin with green and grey undertones. It's a constant struggle especially considering that I am not good with colours at all. I have not yet to see a good video about it on UA-cam. Thank you, love your channel very much.

Ugh she's so beautiful 😩 Like an ethereal fairy or whatever fairies are called in Nepal.
I cannot express how much I love this channel. It celebrates our differences and all kinds of beauty. It makes me feel good and beautiful. The rhythm, the conversation... Thank you, Violette.

Arpana is so engaging and the way she lights up when she speaks wow! Love this look that is so dewy and glowy. Beautiful ❤️
Wow, how absolutely breathtaking is Arpana, both in terms of her looks and in her personality!

This girl is literally the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life, without make up! Ugh!
I knew it was a Colourpop shadow. The shade looks nice on Arpana.
I wish to have my makeup done by her, love how she talks to her about her skin color and undertones and the colors that would look good on her.
She has the most beautiful pair of eyebrows I have ever seen!
Violette wonderful episode , inspiring beautiful guest , thank you for inviting us to be with you while you gave us all this different beauties and way of see life and empowering us to chase our dreams.
Goodness, she is really so beautiful!! Great sense of style.
I really love the song from the beginning used in all episodes from new series. Does anybody know the name? Thank you :)
love violette’s energy so much
She is so beautiful without any makeup at all, but I love the look you did on her. She seems super cool, too.
She was stunning to begin with but the little bit of makeup was beautiful. Violette, I hope you’re feeling well, you look amazing as always ❤️
She’s beautiful!
I love this! I have been waiting for someone with a similar skin tone to me for a while now this is so helpful. Thank You Violette!
Will you be posting the budget friendly moisturizer options to La Mer? :)
Weleda is a budget-friendly alternative to La Mer! Warm it in your hands and then apply. It is so great and smells lovely. :)

Does anybody know the song from the intro? Love it! ✨
my question, too
Toria2508 she said on her Instagram that the song was custom made for her channel. So I don’t think you can find it anywhere 😩😭
Madison Hays I’m obsessed, I need this song in my playlist 😭😭
Madison Hays Nooooo, these are sad news, 😭 but thanks for the answer! :-)
Toria2508 it’s very similar to Laforêt by Lescop, check it out!
