@@tuber364 not too crowded where we stayed at. But the campsites across from us were a bit crowded. I suggest you go to Bowman Lake early friday to get a site as there are not many sites near the water. Theres many campsite inside the woods (not near the water.)
That is a beautiful lake, love that area of the Sierra's!

We just go there and scout the area till we find a nice spot. Luckily, we found this spot during a night run.

How is the water level at bowman? Last time i went it was just a stream
how is the road?
Not too bad. Just rocky. You do need high clearance 4x4 to get there
it's terrible. Need 4x4 and lockers.
