Hey Scott, As far as I can tell, the option that lets you bring in an empty room (and add people to it) would be useful if you're doing a stream where you have multiple callers; sort of like one of those radio advice talk shows. The idea would be to give the red link to anyone who wants to be on the show and the main part of the room. When it's someone's turn to be "on the air", you can admit them into that other room. Only the folks in the more juried room would show up into OBS at that point. When last I checked, every time the number of people in a room change, the layout of people shifts as it does in Zoom, meaning you'd have to re-adjust all of your frames. The advantage of doing it this way is that you can have one source set up in OBS for the ninja room, and potentially have someone else manage the queue (like a stage manager).

I used OBS-Ninja to live switch a trivia show for a Twitch stream. I had the host and 2 contestants in the Ninja room and brought them into my scenes ok - while I was not in the show, I joined the room and used my virtual camera to feed the OBS out scene into the room (we some video questions) . The issue I had was being able to feed them the show audio. Is there a way to send the audio from dropped in media sources into the Ninja chat room?
You could if one of those hosts had OBS Studio. Do they?
@@ScottFichter The show host has it (or can get it). How do we use his OBS to route the audio from the video source back into the ninja room?
hi @Scott Ficther. Does OBS Ninja have the ability to work with an external camera? i.e. I use my external camera connected to my phone via a USB capture device. Is the program able to identify another camera connected to my phone?
What's the name of your camera?
@@ScottFichter Panasonic PV100
I need a better broadband connection
Hi im trying to use this but i always encounter this "This site can't ask for permission close any bubbles or overlays from other apps". Any workaround about this? thanks
You on a PC?
@@ScottFichter using my android phone..
in Uganda Facebook is blocked by the government due to politic unless when you uses vpn but still obs will not find the server
Can you get out of there?
Can you tell me how did you make the camera overlay for two people
Can you reply with a video time stamp. So I can see what you're referring to? For example just type in the time like this 1:00 will take you to 1 minute in the video.
I have the settings in balance and my camera in obs freezing. Any solotuion?
I'd have to be in front of your computer to troubleshoot the issue.
@@ScottFichter Mybe its from ninja servers? Cause it work fine but every 30 sec maybe freeze for a sec. nvm ty for advice
