My friends and I went to Japan in January 2020 and for most days we booked hotels or pods or some kind of room, but we knowingly didn’t book any room for a day or 2 and we were like we’ll just figure it out based on where we end up on that day. So on one of those days after we spent the whole day and night out, we were thinking of where to stay and we thought of staying at a love hotel. We then went to one nearby and asked for a room with 2 beds cuz we wanted to see what it’s like but unfortunately there were either only single bed rooms available or no rooms available (probably the former). We ended up staying at a pod we really liked that, we stayed there a few days before and it was nearby. Thinking back to it I wonder what they were thinking, like why are these 4 overseas guys trying to stay at a love hotel. Side note we all loved Japan and you guys have to go when you can, it’s amazing! Weebs or not you’ll absolutely love it. We all miss it and want to go back. I’m basically the only “weeb” who went and at that time I wasn’t a weeb yet. This trip was a spontaneous trip btw. It was around thanksgiving when we saw tickets to Tokyo in January for $560!!!! You know cheap that is!! Basically our spending on the flight ticket and spendings in Japan equaled to the average flight ticket price of like $1300. We got lucky that we got back to America before the whole COVID lockdown. Oh also I saw tenga at a certain manga store before even knowing what tenga was.

I’ve been watching Abroad in Japan review some love hotels they actually look really fun. One he was in had like an upstairs area with like a teddy bear corner, another had a whole maze theme, another with monkey bars and a punch bag. They really go all out on the themes in love hotels, and the food usually looks really good too. Niji EN should definitely support this idea in the future, and help fund an off collab in a really nice hotel.

My friend's family run a love hotel and they too, don't accept guys only group. Its not because they are homophobic or anything. Its just that...when guys doing it, there is high chance of... "choco bomb". Yeh sure, people clean themselves beforehand but many cant do it properly, not because theyre dirty but because its not easy to do. And after the party, hotel staffs have to deal with "the bombs" which of course they dont want to

You should watch Cdawgva and Chris broad videos about love hotels. Some love hotels lets same gender in and some don't. But since recently it's required by law that they can't discriminate against same sex couples, but some hotela still do.
Probably more of a pain to clean up. Straight couples tend to not do anal as much, meaning less fecal matter everywhere.
