We missed having you there, though we had your shirt and logo at least! I wanted to make sure I shared this experience so folks like yourself could still get a good taste of how it went. Thanks for all your support, patronage and friendship, Phil!
I do not have the words to express how amazing this trip was. The show and toys were amazing but pale in comparison to the experience of meeting the absolute best people in the community like you. Thanks for being you, I hope to do it again next year!
Thanks Will for being a friend, making me feel welcome as soon as I walked into the doors of the hotel, and for the videos you've been putting up to share this. Meeting you in person and hanging out was heartwarming. I've made a true friend in you. Thanks for introducing me to Bjorn as well.
Awesome overview and recap, and another awesome fire video! It was awesome to meet you champ! Take care and see you on the next stream!:) You are the undisputed Run-in master and on the spot challenge acceptor and promo cutter.:) We love, it Peace Ken.
I'm a star wars collector but now after seeing your video I'm now hooked on gijoe and action force. Very cool. I grew up with the original 12" Gijoe figures of the 1960s. All of these new ones are quite awesome.
This was a fantastic video Ken. I really wish I was there. When you showed the video of you meeting Sgt. Slaughter It put a massive smile on my face! So glad you had an amazing time!
Thanks for the recap. As someone who wasn't able to attend it was nice to see some of the stuff at the show but also your experience traveling and hanging out with Sarge and other Joe fans.
I completely agree! I absolutely loved JoeFest and had a great time. Shame we kept missing each other but I'll be there next year, so if I see you, I'll buy you a beer!
Man that looked like an absolutely incredible weekend. I’ve been loving seeing all the joefest content popping up in the last week. And those Delta17 figures are freakin awesome!
Dude what a great video, I'm from Panama many of my friends and I are fans of GI Joe we grew up with it and I wish they would do this type of event in my country. Sure we have events similar to a comic con but I wish they held events entirely dedicated to GI Joe and everything it stands for. Great video and great channel man!
You summed it up big time perfect in the start of the video - "you really only get 1 chance at your first JoeFest" - My first was 2023 as well, and I'm still talking about it 6 weeks later. I got to meet Michael and Melinda from RetroBlasting and Tony from Analog Toys (amongst others), and it was just so cool to meet these dudes I invite into my house via UA-cam. Did the breakfast with the Sarge (saw you there, too) and talked with Jem actress Samantha Newark, and chatted with the legend himself Larry Hama a bit, too. What a great time. Nice video!
Yes!!! Bro soooo amazing getting to meet and hang out with you in person! I wish we got even more time together. Had some folks ask which one you were in the video. Lol I guess we can make you the Where's Waldo of our crew 🤣
Hey Ken! I was wondering if you saw a display at Joefest for "S.P.A.R.K." figs by Arlen Pelletier Studios Inc. (I hope that's right). I think they were next to the "Monsterforce" figs. Do you know anything about them? They were looking REALLY SWEET!
@@ToyKennections Wow!!! Hans Chow karaoke talk about needing something in my life I didn't know existed two minutes ago. Please tell me someone got video of that. I also head Gazz was there but I haven't seen photos yet.
@@josiahalcorne there should be a video of hans singing on the Sgt Slaughter Slaughterhouse FB group posted by Joe Recondo Rondeau. Gazz is in my video several times but asked not to be ID'd lol. Hint: he's taller than me, haha.

Awesome view from a long distance traveler! Sgt. Slaughter was a little after my time but sums up all that is good in 80s pop culture.
