One easy way to make a thinner bracelet is to look up a company called jimalax. They're in Chandler, AZ and they carry Lacross Racquet cords. It's a little thinner than half the size of 550 cord but, makes for a thinner wrist for those guys that don't want a big ole thick bracelet on thier wrist or for the ladies who want to sport thier own fashion trend.
I've used jimalax cordage for quite a while not. It's probably just as strong as paracord and there's pretty much any color you can imagine.. Just think of how many colleges have Lacrosse teams and the colors of those colleges..

Ok I have a question I'm new to the weaving world and I was.just wondering should I buy paracord in spools or should I buy paracord when I wanna make a project ?
You should buy basic colors that you can use for most projects in larger quantities. Off colors that you wouldn't need often or weird patterns I'd only buy in small quantities for certain projects.
Funny, you think you'll be able to abstain from one or the other.. Soon you'll have spools everywhere and bags with paracord in between..

Here's a little something extra... Have you seen those 3 legged artists easels that fold all up to pretty much fit in a suitcase?? I have at least 4 of those because I took one and made it my paracord station, even took it to Ireland with me in it's own suitcase filled with rolls and rolls of paracord.
I should make a video of what I've done to mine but, I can tell you, the bracket that holds the bottom of your picture frame now has an eyebolt screwed in to it and that eyebolt have the male end of a buckle attached to it. The other bracket up top has the same setup, only it has the female part of the buckle on the eyebolt attached to it. The real beauty of using this easel is that it's adjustable for holding different heights of picture frames orrrrr... different length of bracelets. I even marked on the right side of it to show hoe long the bracelet will be. I also put a copper pipe between the legs held to the legs with pipe brackets with a nail going thru the pipe so it doesn't all fall off. What's on this mysterious pipe?? Why, multiple rolls of paracord or lacrosse cord, depending on what I'm working on.. The easel also has a nice drawer on it that will hold all your tools..
Now that I think of it, maybe I should make a video of that thing.. When I went to Ireland, it had it's own suitcase I carried it in along with about 10 spools of cord.. I also picked up some different types of cordage while I was there..
