- In this video we'll be taking a material from Poliigon.com, bringing it into Cinema 4D using our material converter and then rendering it out with Corona.

These videos are great ~ thank you so much!
Hey guys, thank you so much first of all. I just installed the latest material converter and restarted the C4D application but am having issues. When I click on the plugin the plugin pops up but it just opens the settings of the plugin with one box checkable/uncheckable - 'Enable the Material Preview'. Then the bottom half has 2 buttons. 'Check for Updates' and 'View Changelog'. I can't click on anything to get out of the settings menu and into the actual plugin that allows me to search for materials. Any advice? I feel like its extremely simple but I'm at a dead end.
Isn't it better/more convenient to adjust a bitmap by changing gamma value inside the Filter shader?
That's actually cool and easy, but nobody will understand how to create one like that
Could you elaborate? If there is a way this video could be improved I'd love to hear about it.
@@poliigondocumentation3584 Like don't using the convertor and show how to create the textures and then the material starting from the one on the site
Right I understand what you mean now. Our recommended method of using our materials is to use the converter as it's quicker, easier and reduces the chances of error on part of the user. That said, it might be an idea to write some step by step instructions for manually setting up a material. I'll look into it.
Thanks for your feedback.
