Correct me if I'm wrong but if this idea went through, maybe it would be possible to make it that 1 person could only have 1 of each effect, and that would avoid duping
If you don’t want effects to be tradable and it happens then don’t trade the effects you own. 😁

if nik does do this, no dupes, and if someone has an effect they have never traded, it has an icon to show it, (there would be a different stack for traded ones) and if you put in a non-traded effect there would be a confirmation before you even put it in.
1 problem. I feel some effects that people spent 3k robux on would be wayy undervalued than what u paid for it. Like let’s say u spent $50 on the plasma bundle for the effect and the effect turns out to only have 5 value and the least valueable effect

i think we all need 1 feature for moblie players….
when players are playing a music or a loud sound effects……most players are very annoyed with it for moblue players. since pc players has the opportunity to mute the sound/music from the boombox, i think nik needs to add it for mobile players aswell!..

I’m really rich on mm2,but I just started one the start of 2023,I want EFFECTS like candy cane,but I can’t cuz I they’re not tradeable,I would say if someone wants to stay a veteran you can make a thing like this person doesn’t trade effects showing they’re veterans or smt like a badge,but I want and need effects lol

i think it would be awesome to trade effects but i also think its a bad idea because you cant get multiple copies of an effect like u can get copies of knifes and guns but if you could get multiple effects it would be a great idea and i also think we could equip multiple effects at the same time like flaming effect and duel wield (yes i know there is an hack for that!) woah i wrote a whole lot

I dont think effects should be tradable but maybe there can be an update that like has in the effect shop daily offers where the old effects can be bought but the effects change every day.
yeah true, but that would be unfair, because most old effects in mm2 costed robux so imagine ur just able to get coins for it. It would make people mad as they bought it for rl money and also ruin the exclusivity (rarity) of it
@@LostWasp i never said they can be bought for coins, and if they could the price wouldn't be as cheap as for the current effects like 3-4k but maybe like 20k. It will make people grind for coins much more and mm2 will gain more players cause coins cannot be bought. If we exclude the exchanging tokens/candies into coins, which can be only done in Christmas and Halloween events.

i think holiday effects should be tradeable only and shop effects (dual wield etc)
or from bundles like flow or petals
To make it more understandable for noobs we should add total values, value on an item, value difference max 40% and anything over it will be in a read text and it will say value difference too high! So people can make good trades.

I would like them to be able to be traded since I have 2 accounts, one from 2018 and one from 2017. In the 2017 account I have quite good effects and I would like to have them in my main account (the one from 2018).

Istg if effects never become tradeable just because OG players wanna be able to be recognized as an "OG" then idek. I think your amount of kills, sheriff wins, and innocent survivals kinda makes up for that, right? Because if you been playing since 2016, then you probably are gonna have ALOT of survivals, kills, and wins. And pretty much NOBODY actually cares if youre an og or not, They only care when you have alot of weapons that they can beg to offer for. Besides, the OG players that are worried about all their rare effects from 7 years ago becoming super common they really DONT have anything to worry about. Because no new players are gonna be able to get them, if OG players dont trade them away. I do understand the duping issue, but I feel like it wont happen, Roblox has improved security alot since duping was a thing so I dont think it would be a very common thing. I just really want effects to be tradeable so I can get newer ones when they come out, like the new Pearl Shine effect that just released. Its literally SO pretty. And Id be able to trade effects to alt accounts. The only effects that shouldnt be tradeable are the ones in the shop. Like Dual wield, Green Fire, etc.

I personally dont think effects should be tradable, like you said it shows how long players have been playing murder mystery 2. I have effects from 2018 Christmas and halloweens, i started playing in 2017. If they do add it i probably wouldnt use it much as i like all my effects.
