….you do realize how many died and were slaughtered during the Red Raids precisely because they didn’t have the knowledge of Apollo, right? The Zeniths were from the Old Ones, so they still had that mentality. There was a chance for a whole new civilization, free from the prejudices of the old with all the knowledge at their fingertips, and Ted allowed his hubris to dictate his actions. Foolishness and folly.
@@crazyquirrels That's the thing. Look at what they did without that knowledge and how much worse it would have been if they did have that knowledge. It would take just 1 asshole to fuck everything up. It's a good thing humans didn't end up with that database.
@@titanhades4331 Conversely, think at what could have been had they had that database. The senseless ignorance and death that could have been avoided. Humanity was literally given a fresh start, but of course, like you said, that 1 human had to screw it up before it was even given a chance. Would it have been utopia? Would there have been wars? We can’t even begin to answer any of those because they were never even given a chance. So you are absolutely correct: 1 asshole did fuck everything up. He literally brought about the end of the world, and then reduced the future back to barbaric tribes.
@@crazyquirrels Sorry, but this is the human race we are talking about. It's a million times more likely they'll just fuck things up even worse with that knowledge. Better to just keeps their hands off it.
