Cost of Dental Implants in Australia || Why Is It So Expensive?

- - A question we get asked often is why are dental implants so expensive in Australia? It's a bit like saying why are you so heavily paid here in Australia? Because of how the whole Australian system works, the cost of doing any form of procedures here is always a bit higher. Now I'm not gonna go into the specifics of it but I'm gonna tell you what your dentist, your surgeon or your specialist has to do before the successful implant can be done.
There's a lot of planning that is done. So for example, if you look, we've taken the skin of a patient here. We will then get a patient to do a CT scan, then we download it into software like this, this is all done after hours mind you, where we will spend about an hour planning to see which would be the best way to minimize the risk and have a successful implant. Once this is done we do a digitally printed guide which we use to place your implants.
Now if add everything up, unfortunately, it costs quite a bit. What I would say instead is, dental implants are the second best thing to your own teeth so what you need weigh-in, do you want something that's next best to your own teeth? versus no teeth, the choice is yours.
If you need implants go to Bali, have a holiday, and pay 1/ 4 the price without the B/S
Not what I would call a good explanation rather a bit like saying back in India I would make 200 time more money than working class . Its the arrogance from the Australian medical industry ... Yes I said it correctly its an industry and everyone is a punter ...
I was hoping to hear at least a semi-plausible explanation as to why implants are so prohibitively and disproportionately expensive here in Australia, but after watching this I’m none the wiser. So in the absence of expert opinion (coz it’s not just this video that manages to completely evade the question!), I’ll stick to my own opinion as to why they charge soooo much money for dental implants: a) Because they can, and b) Because there’s no bones in ice cream.
This basically just said. If you need implants pay the 💰
If you need implants go to Bali, have a holiday, and pay 1/ 4 the price without the B/S.

I am on antibiotics every couple of months dental in Australia has let down a whole generation
this doesn't explain why some dentists ask for the cost of a house to drill in some holes put metal in your skull and some fake teeth- nothing about that should cost 300k or 50k I don't give a flying f that you have software or you took a few hours to look at it big f deal. make it affordable.

You can use some of your superaunation to pay for the work ...i am having 5 implants done and paying for it with my super .......I cannot wait to be able to smile with confidence again
