Daniel is such a cool and humble guy, and has a very ethical and rational way of thinking about business and shareholders.
I have become a Teqnion shareholder recently and really enjoy learning more from the team. It's a bunch of people who really love what they do and they're in it for the very long run. I wish Daniel and his colleagues the best of luck. I'll be along with them for the ride.
Great to meet you Daniel and Johan!
Love the pullback in shares over the last week or two, finally hit a point where I felt comfortable in adding another sizeable position (at 165). Among the largest holdings in my portfolio, and feeling good about it for the very, very long term. :) Thanks for putting this together - new sub, c/o this video. :)
Thank you so much! ua-cam.com/video/peS-Jh3xtqA/v-deo.html here's another stock analysis you that might interest you 🙌
Loved this interview!
Fantastic interview. Thanks for sharing!
Our pleasure! Thank you for your comment 🙌
Can i ask a really stupid question, if you buy shares in teqnion, do you own shares in the group or the parent company? I have been reading the annual reports and cannot figure it out. Most of the numbers quoted on platforms look like they are from the group (revenue, gross profit etc).
Thank you so much for this very informative video you guys! Long $TEQ
Glad it was helpful!
Amazing podcast
Thank you so much!🙌
am i correct if i say that Daniel does not own shares in the company himself? If so, why not?
as of 2-12-2023
Daniel owns 35,000 shares - he discusses his share ownership in the podcast (around 1hr 15mins)
Where would one buy shares of this company in the USA?
why not buy this in Sweden? It's more liquid than OTC
How do you buy in Sweden?
What brokerages in the US have access to this company? I can't find it on the usual suspects.
IBKR worked for me.
@@clayfinck thanks!
Any other firms? have the same question
@@chadpedigo7981 The brokerage needs to have access in Sweden. Teqnion is not available in the US
Fidelity
can the host please allow the guy to speak? I beg you 🙏🙄
Is it fair to say that Teqnion is a similar business to Berkshire, realizing that Teq it’s much smaller, less capital, and Swedish?
Not really - BRK has a large insurance business and a stock portfolio. Teq has none of those things.
@@extramild1 There was a time when BRK had none of those things as well. Respectfully, I think you may have missed the essence of the question. Seeing parallels between where BRK was in it's infancy stages, and where Teqnion is today, isn't a far stretch. Now, whether or not Teqnion will ever come close to BRK's success - that's an entirely different story.
@@PJski but for brk, the construct of having an isurance business and investing the free float is quite essential to their success. the similarity between teq and brk is that they are both holdings, and thy try to buy strong companies as whole if they can. brk had a leverage of a free supply of money to invest from their insurance business, which is different from teq.
Not even remotely similar
Share buybacks can ofc be great capital allocation depending on valuation relative to other opportunities
Great interview. I like the people running this company.
Thank you @ 77magicbus !🙌
A refreshing approach to buying and managing businesses and a fantastic interview! How can one by Teqnion stock in the USA?
I personally use Interactive Brokers. It's great. Low fees, easy to use, etc.
Interactive Brokers. I bought some shares using that platform. I believe you can use Fidelity but Im not certain
You can use Fidelity. I own shares on there
The Chinese host should be fired.
