Hahah yeah Yohn and Kyril plot twist left me scratching my head, but I'll take since well magic. I love SUikoden 4 and Suikoden Tactics done justice to tie the story well.
Not all Suikoden protagonist died or went on a journey such as Suikoden 5 and well 4.

Five has lot's of endings, some include him going off on a journey, and in four you do either straight up die, or live and then eventually wander off. But mostly it was us making fun of a series we enjoy ;p

Can I play this game and understand it fully without having played the other PS2 Suikoden games. I realize there are some references but is it a necessity to have played the others on PS2?

Warlock could indeed be regarded as the Oppenheimer of the Suikoden World. If it weren't for Tactics, they would've been far more common across the world. When it comes to El-Eal, Cray should've protected his fortress far, far better. It was a very disappointing final area, as the Kooluk infantry are very, very week.

I'd love to play it but it goes for like a 100 euros. It would better be a masterpiece with that kind of money.
