    1. It is about energy management, not time management.
    2. Don't overuse or underuse.
    3. Increase capacity in all 4 systems. Training like an athlete.
    4. Positive rituals.
    5. Work and recovery.
Superior athlete had good recovery regime. Decrease your heart rate.
    6. Sprinter - Fully engage, fully disengage... Work and rest
    7. We don't recover enough.
    8. Drink plenty of water.

GREAT stuff! I recently started significantly limiting my internet. Amazing what it does for one's consciousness!

I like the idea of managing energy rather than time. I started making lists of everything that was in my view draining or wasting energy in me. Caffeine and cigarettes, WORRYING, lack of sleep, listening to too many podcasts/ebooks (too much stimulation all day - this one is the hardest to let go of)

It´s a great idea! Beckwith also speaks of the idea that some of our loss of energy comes from our thoughts... And that boredom is the energy that takes to block creativity! Awesome teacher! Thanks for this video! Peace and blessings :)

Great job, Brian! I always feel like I learn more from you than even reading the book --which I just did last week! Great recap!

Thanks for this video. It was a very helpful summary of the book, "The Power of Full Engagement." I've heard of this book and read the first chapter, but I haven't read all of it. This summary was helpful and caused me to think about how I manage my energy.

The antic.........ipation is riveting Brian. In Toastmasters speeches we call this the hook. But we are, as I read below, willing captives. Keep up the inspiration my friend. Just a little diversion you may like to explore is a possible human side to capitalism an experiment that has worked for over 50 years and is benefitting over 80,000 people in Spain and that is Mondragon. Check it out. Cheers from Sydney Australia. Chris

Thanks for the suggestion! I just looked for "fearless productivity" on Amazon and couldn't find a book by that name. Can you tell me the author and check on the title? Sounds cool! :)

It is by Paul Brodie and he sells it as an e-book in any event on his websites fearlessproductivity(dot)com. I have no idea if it is any good though just a thought. I looked for reviews and found only two mentions - one terrible and one very positive.

I hate the way writers make things simple by putting then under topics. Things are not that simple... engagement is a complex psychologic subject being studied for more than a decade.
