That precious moment caused me to cry. My dog was very sensitive and loving like that. He and I were at the emergency vet hospital. A lady was crying due to losing her dog. He stood up, walked over to her and put his head in her lap. I miss him so much. Dogs are God's gift to us!!🙏❤️
I had a dog when I was growing up who also did that (consoled me when I cried). Dogs are very sensitive to our moods, even if it is someone outside their family, as yours demonstrated. I also had 3 different dogs over the years who volunteered with me in an organization that trains both the dog & human to volunteer to do free visits to people in healthcare facilities. Our mission was just to share the love and joy our dogs bring with them. I did not have to tell my dogs to "be gentle"; they all instinctively understood and were very calm & gentle. I had a big 85 lb. Lab who patiently allowed small, frail children in hospital rehabs, to hold onto him as they wobbled beside him. He helped them to practice walking, using him as a stable support to lean on when needed. Dogs are very in tune with people and love their families. They understand a lot more than we give them credit for.
@@judybritt6288yes, you are correct some dogs are very intuitive to us and our emotions. I had the pleasure of witnessing a Rottweiler give a woman a hug by curving it's body around her side. It was at a hospice grief support weekend and the woman was sharing how she had lost several members of her family it was very emotional. The dog was a trained emotional support animal but I had always been leery of Rotties but left with a new appreciation for them.

I remember my fur babies reaction when i brought home my daughter , my good girl was so protective of my baby , i even helped the puppers "hold" the bottle to help me feed my baby ( she was sick at birth and could not latch properly and so was on formula while i waited for my milk to come in ( she was early , milk was late) whenever the baby made a noise , my good girl was the first to her crib , up on her back legs to make sure the baby was ok. Female dog was fixed , never had babies of her own but the instinct is always there. Makes me cry , i miss that fur baby , was forced to give her up when i moved into my first apartment ( daughter was a few weeks old then) ill never forgive that person who forced me to chose between a place to live with my children on the streets or get rid of my fur baby and have a home, i bawled like a baby the day i had to take her to the pound, i still cry because i can never forgive myself for it. I was 14 when i got the puppers and 21 when i had my baby. im bawling now and its been 25 years since i had to make that decision.

There far too much abuse of humans than dogs. Have you ever had that there's a war where guns and bombs are directed on innocent children and elderly people? Some humans are kept in cages and some are killed everyday for their organs. The list of abuse on human beings is endless. We're humans but have failed to protect each other and now have resorted in protecting animals just to feel good with ourselves. Not that's it's wrong to bond with animals but if you can forge a relationship and give your affection to random distressed animals, you should be doing the same, if not more, for other humans instead of trying to avoid and ignore them. That is misplaced affection. Let's expose ourselves and allow human affection to be nurtured around us to feel the same as all other other animals can do to us. Humans first and animals will be in a much safer in an environment where humans love each other more.

Indeed. I was heartbroken after my big furby of 14years crossed the Rainbow Bridge.. I cried every day for months. So I rescued an abused little dog from our local shelter - and from the first kind word to her, she's been my velcro shadow.. So devoted and loving. She's spoiled beyond measure - but she doesn't know that she really rescued me ❤

There far too much abuse of humans than dogs. Have you ever had that there's a war where guns and bombs are directed on innocent children and elderly people? Some humans are kept in cages and some are killed everyday for their organs. The list of abuse on human beings is endless. We're humans but have failed to protect each other and now have resorted in protecting animals just to feel good with ourselves. Not that's it's wrong to bond with animals but if you can forge a relationship and give your affection to random distressed animals, you should be doing the same, if not more, for other humans instead of trying to avoid and ignore them. That is misplaced affection. Let's expose ourselves and allow human affection to be nurtured around us to feel the same as all other other animals can do to us. Humans first and animals will be in a much safer in an environment where humans love each other more.

Indeed. I was heartbroken after my big furby of 14years crossed the Rainbow Bridge.. I cried every day for months. So I rescued an abused little dog from our local shelter - and from the first kind word to her, she's been my velcro shadow.. So devoted and loving. She's spoiled beyond measure - but she doesn't know that she really rescued me ❤

Also, THANK YOU for loving him just as much as always, and possibly more, after you had your baby. I'm so sick of seeing beautiful animals like these heartbroken and confused after being abandoned at shelters because their owners had a baby. Many of these wonderful souls never make it out of the shelter alive. Dogs are a lifetime commitment - their whole life - not just till you have a baby or move to another home.
