That's funny that you smell the plush. I do the same thing. It has to pass the smell test! Also, just wanted to say that I love your videos and I have learned alot from you. I live in Pittsburgh Pa and am getting ready to have a huge garage sale because I have to down size because I am moving. I would say 75% of what I am selling is new in original packaging. I have alot because when I became disabled and unable to work all I did was shop but I bought clearance and after holidays when I got stuff for 80-90% off. I used alot for presents but now I need to unload. The yard sale will be huge. Glad I have been watching your videos cause it will help me. Thanks Matt
A great brass and copper sculpture name is C. Curtis Jere, but it is 2 men who combined their names. The pieces are usually signed and are much larger.
Another great video Matt! Always enjoy when you go to the flea market with your beautiful wife and Parker. Like I told you in the past, I’m a retired antiques dealer and owned several antique shops. I thank you for everything that you teach me outside of antiques. My advice to you, stay away from the Pfaltzgraff. Years ago it was hot, but no longer. I literally could not give it away. As always, you guys rock! Happy new year to you and your beautiful family.
08:30 Those spice shakers are Phaltzgraff Folkloric pattern. Discontinued. It used to be really saleable but I don't know about now. Their discontinued 70s and 80s patterns used to sell for money. 09:23 The ship had a base, now missing. Those ponytail holders were an eye-opener. Who'd have thougt? I should have bought a few spare packs in the 80s!
You and your family sourcing at the flea market is one of the most pleasant and enjoyable of the picking and flipping channels on UA-cam. Your personality shows, and your wife and Parker are so charming. Good luck sourcing and have a prosperous New Year!
That sheet metal ship with the counter weight is supposed to have a pyramid or another piece that comes to a point that you balance it on top of by the center of the curved rod and usually the curved rod has a center punch or indent mark in the area that it balances at. Usually the part you balance it on is related to the piece like for a boat it be a sheet metal wave or sun. It's basically a piece of 1980-90's house decor, we get them in at my work now and then for repair because they always getting knocked over and the welds break but they been in someone's family for years and they have to save them.
Who would you recommend I view to gain knowledge on what I need for weighing, shipping and pricing? I’ve been looking at your videos which helped alot in terms of items you purchased, listed and sold. Your recommendation is greatly appreciated!
Great picks as always! The family that picks together sticks together lol poet and don’t know it lol that was a no brainer fly by on those boots lol thanks so much for sharing 💜
Matt what you can do with those video games as another option is take them to a retro video game store and trade it in for store credit for more desirable games.
I swear, Parker is just out there living his best life with his cop costume, bubbles and cones lol Did you check all the cases for the games? I never see anyone check them before buying.
@@zamantv80 I escaped in 2008 and when I go back to orange county to visit I feel excited to eat at my favorite restaurants I feel excited to visit my family and the beaches but I can’t wait to get back to Texas! I don’t feel at home in California anymore it’s been ruined
That sailboat item balances on a piece of brass and will spin around. I have seen them before. That pin on the bottom of the rod from the sailboat is the middle to balance it with the weight and sailboat. So you are missinga piece to that item. Also the two tan salt and pepper shakers I believe they are. The name is odd but it sounds like false Graff.
I just need to warn I keep watching your videos and it’s driving me nuts 🥜 how much cash you Carry on you & record most pickers resellers don’t show that much cash 💵! I just don’t want anything bad to happen it’s like hey got lots of money come rob me ! Some people don’t think good thoughts! Maybe not zoom in on how much cash your carrying with you some how but at the end you can say how much you spent ! Be safe good thoughts 💕🤞🏼
I've been forced off eBay due to their changing policies and payment scheme, because I could not switch and add a bank account they deleted almost 3k listings I had :-( wish more high profile sellers on here would start boycotting them, I've switched to eBid now, charges are soooooo much lower but being a lot newer it doesn't have the amount of traffic as eBay has yet but is growing every day.
woohoo San Jose Sharks that's my team! sounds weird because I am in Pennsylvania but always loved Sharks hard to find their stuff out my way i know you're out in the bay area you may probably see it more then me lol
I’ve done very well on eBay so far but as far as selling hats and stuffed animals I find it impossible to sell those items. I wash them when necessary and present them very well but they just don’t sell. It drives me crazy because all the channels I watch constantly buy those items I don’t get it. Any advice thanks
Hey Matt just a heads up when you bought all those games for $40 Make sure to give the money to the boss next time I’ve seen a lot of shady stuff at swapmeets where the people working for other people sell it cheaper or keep the extra money
Hello how are you? My son and I love your videos. We are new to UA-cam (Ocean State Pickers) and looking for some advice. Thanks for the great content. From your friends Leo and Lex
Dang I thought you were going to strike some gold with that video game lot buy. I seen quite a few sports games that looked like pickle games but I was thinking you would maybe find a few gems in there.
Most resellers keep like 200$ on them and then go back to an atm walking around with 500$ plus not smart especially when your ADVERTISING for shit&$y people! It’s sad to even think that way but not all people and people know your faces it sucks to be worried but better safe then sorry! 🙌🏼🤷🏻♀️
Plush, keyboard, Squid, notebooks, video games, hats, leather hat, spice shaker, wind chime, pony tail beads, Matt thanks for the video. Appreciate you and your family. Peace out.

Nice picking for the items, your little boy is cute. Thanks for sharing 👍👍📹
I love when Parker is along. 💕

Have been suggesting your channel to other resellers, you and your wife have a sixth sense on what sells. Be safe.
Wow 175 for the boots ! Great pickings with the rest of your goodies. Thank you Matt your Dad and Mrs PTP and of course wee Parker ☺👍

I can't believe the ponytail holders can bring that much!! Dang, who knew. Lol
I was thinking the same thing! 😳😆
Ditto!
Thanks for the video and information
Great score with the hat!!!!!!!!!!!!! The other stuff was good too. Parker looks so CUTE
The stoneware pieces with the blue might be Phaltzcraft dishes. Should say it on the Botton.
Plush are my favorite thing to sell because you know they're always gonna be super easy to ship
I’ve watched all of your videos the garage sales are my favorite!

Great deals! Yes, sometimes you do have to walk away…solid advice!
Good idea on bundling those games with the sets. Super idea. I know that if I were buying a console, I'd love to get a sort of starter set of games.
Those boots.....OUCH! and at a flea market. They weren't thinkin.....best to walk away. Marianne
Love Parker’s Policeman’s Outfit
That was a great find on the steampunk hat. I wouldn't have known what it was or it's value. Learned something. Thanks.

The music always gets me hyped for your videos!
Very interesting finds! Thanks for sharing!

That boat at the end looked really cool Great video Matt
Good to see Papa Picker, Wifey Picker, and (my personal fav) Parker Picker 🤩😊.
Great video!
Hey Matt, watch next time the price is half that. They must have looked up comps before setting up that day. Awesome content, thanks for sharing!
That sail boat was popular in the 70s
Classic Parker with the cones

Why just CA? People all over go to flea markets. FL has a lot of them right now.

Pfaltzgraff?
That brown hat had a Four Non Blondes vibe :)
Great finds!!!! 💜
Good grief, the price on those boots... 😵😵😵
great finds
Point at the item and then ask … if you have it in your hand and ask it’s more $$
I like your videos! Love from Sweden!
Awesome find as always.
I have a San Marcos or similar type blanket question for you...how do you ship those heavy, bulky things economically?? Thanks!
Where's this flea market located? Been years since I've been to one selling used items rather then cheap brand new items

Hi Matt have you ever gone to the CAPITAL FLEE MARKET IN SAN JOSE CA? IS NICE
Good idea for all those games. I thought you were about to say you were going to do do a giveaway with some of them
Looks like you had fun and will be able to make some money. 😎

You can sell those games to a video game store for credit and buy something else you can flip
She said 2 dollars each cada uno
