Nice factory tour Chris. I guess that when it comes to splitters, "different strokes for different folks". Product liability, OSHA and the EPA have all contributed to much higher end user costs for consumers.
To beat the dead horse one more time. A foot pedal operated ram should be an option. and It should work from either side of the machine. Make it for $225.00, charge $425.00 for it. Everybody is happy. You could use the pedal for two hours and then the lever for two hours. If twenty of us subscribers wanted to pool some funds to purchase a second Lavaliere mic for those times when you are hosting guests, How much do we need to get together? Tyler is a good guest , good job taking Chris with you. Best wishes for more appearances on In The Woodyard . Five road trips a year are something to look forward too. Tim the tool man Taylor would be loving your new "BF " splitter😊

Because of your videos, I wanted to buy an Eastonmade. I didn't want to wait a year so I am looking for something else. I have a Timberwolf splitter TW-1 and am very happy with it, but it doesn't have a log lift. I am getting older and need a log lift now. My Timberwolf dealer doesn't have anything with a log lift and can't get one for some time. It is nice to have a dealer within a 40 miles of my house.
Great video Chris! Love to see other business operations. By the way Wolferidge does make 2 new smaller, splitters RS17 and RS22 with a log lift or auto cycle, both with a 6 second cycle time. By the sounds of it I think I might have to put in an order before any of these goes any higher lol
I bought a big huge gigantic All Wood Musclewood splitter last year. And sure it's nice and all, but it's more splitter then I really needed. These smaller splitters with the fast cycle times and a log lift are all anyone really needs.
