I’m starting a project with this same bike , took a min to find the registered owner , now to DMV to get it in my name repair book will be here Monday 🍻
Gad the same year model and color.. bike was outside for a year. I was chasing a no spark issue for weeks and ended up being weak coils not producing good spark. And prior thay the cdi box was shot. Bought one on eBay for 50$ and fixed the issue
Jeez mate that's being a mother bit of a chasin yer tail situation you'll get there though ,Gonna be interesting to find out what's goin on there .Cheers : )
@@mcycleshawn Yeah I have to agree with RonnieC here - it's either spark, dirty carbs, or a combination. Also be careful with overheating and burning up the starter for running it that long. Anyways, I know you'll figure it out - you always do! ;-) Thanks for sharing as always!
The petcock also has a filter actually inside of the tank that you can't see. You have to take the petcock out and off to see that filter.

Fuel has to go through filters and through fuel pump, before returning UP to the carbs. Filters are easier fix, before anything else.

Key on crank engine the pump will work
Does the temp light come on when you turn the ignition on?
Oil pressure light does. Most bikes do a system check. I’ll have to see if this one does when I’m working on it tonight.
Interestingly enough it does not light up when I turn on the ignition. The Magna next to it does. I can’t say if it is burned out or not
thank god thought my bike was screwed up
@@johnsmith2179 or both our bikes are 😂 let’s assume they are working perfectly fine!
@@mcycleshawn I just bought this and rode it 30 minutes home in traffic it was 103 outside and I honestly don’t think the fan ever kicked on
Fuel pump don't work until u crank the engine
Looks like a no spark situation.
I believe you are on to something

@@fitzstermoto agreed, our man kinda freaks me out running the starter motor so long. The starter and some of the wiring overheat quick.
i think you must check pilot jet and main jet have a block from dirty air box or carburetor case. because i have the same issue.
Don't burn up the starter
Plugs ain't firing
Not gravity fed
Fuel pump ain't working it has electric pump on it
