RAW Digging Up The Snow Pile For Winter

(Winter 2021-2022) Removing the covers off our snow stockpile requires cutting the pile flat on top se we can use excavators and people-power to remove the layers of fabric. For this job we used a JCB 140 and a Volvo 220D.

Does that snow pile last all summer long?!

Yeah. It melts a lot though, probably lost a 2m layer over the whole thing. But it’s handy to build roads early in the season.

Nah this was from last season. Not cold enough yet.
