I just picked up a pair of the all black ones. To be honest not sure if they are worth $850 but I didn't pay that much. I paid almost $300 less with Black Friday discounts. They are very nice though. I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep them at first but decided to. They definitely look nice though and make you look like a "movie star" which is what all the Ditas and higher end glasses seem to do.
Nice! Those are also on my list! I saw them on an NBA player when I was out to dinner one night and loved them, they are heavy hitters! Also nice play picking them up on Black Friday! I think they will grow on you and you’d like them more. Especially being that you picked up the all black you’ll be able to wear them with any outfit, anywhere! 🤝
Did yours come with a certificate of authenticity or just that booklet?
A local sunglass store told me that they should come with a certificate. But I just bought some on eBay that didn’t and I’m worried that they are counterfeit.

Do the gold plate fade or tarnish after a period of time??

Hey mine didn’t, but I was discussing with a friend and be told me that he orders his directly from the Dita website and it didn’t come with a certificate either. Maybe the certificate of authenticity comes when you’re buying it from third party/resellers. Just like Gucci, the sunglasses from the Gucci store do not come with the certificates but certain other stores include the COA. I hope this helps
