I was fortunate enough to see Jimmy Fortune in person and was impressed with how humble he was.. Having seen him for several years, singing with the Statler Brothers. I agree completely with Edith Maxim. Perhaps I saw Jimmy at the same place she did, because that place no longer has concerts. And like Edith, I hope to get to see him again.
I saw Jimmy Friday night in a small venue that only has a town population of 6600. He played at the Grand Ole Opry the night before. Says ALOT for his character that he would come our way. He has done this for several years, 2 nights in May..

I really loved the Statler Brothers but when Jimmy joined the band I have been watching him and just love his voice. A real down to earth musician. I am from Quebec Canada and sure would love to see one of your shows in person. Hope you come to Montreal one day.

The harmony singer Sydni Perry is quite superb. Formerly singing back up to Patty Loveless she has been with Jimmy for quite a while. Real good fiddle as well. Great harmony between these two.

I agree completely. Jimmy was a great singer with the Statler Brothers for several years. He is such a humble man in person. The place where I saw him is no longer having concerts. But I hope to get to see him again.
