I had similar problems mounting the Beadbuster on a dually tire with the hub protruding about four inches. Had to use impact sliding hammer and 16" irons to make the gap the fit the foot of the Beadbuster under tire lip. Once I figured this out the Bead buster worked fine. I will post a video on how to get this Bead buster to work on the stubborn side of a dually tire.
Looks like a good tool to have , you got that one done without having to use the a hammer or the backhoe ,are you getting new tires or just fixing a flat ? The work never ends I think I am only about a 100 years behind in my to do list , stay safe
i dont get new tires unless they explode on the road lol, ill probably get some new tubes and reuse the tire for now. its got a slow leak so ill have to take the tube out and check it. yeah my to do list is pretty long as well but i try and get stuff done as i go. the tool worked "ok" i think next time ill get a hydraulic one this one is decent but it doesnt like being put on the lock ring side of the wheel. but im guessing itll be fine on other tires. im all for making life easier, no one stays young forever.
I got mine from Amazon, horrible freight has one too but it'd probably be worse, makes changing tires a lot easier. A electric impact gun is coming soon lol. It worked great peeling off those 30yr old tires.
Nope, it wasn't. Just my personal experience with it. I still use this tool and it's held up great. Only thing that I'm having issues with is the cramping level bent so I can't clamp to the rim as hard as before. Not a huge issue though. Thnx for watching
Yes, that might work on my skidder!
