These HP pavilion computers are just incredible. I bought some older model with a GTX 1650 super in 2021, and I just bought this and carried over all RAM and GPU. These computers are great for increase performance and carry over at affordable price. Note that I did buy both of these open box so I saved some money there too.
If you don't mind the proprietary motherboard and PSU, but that goes to all OEMs.

Before I watched your video I already bought the TP01-3003w. It hasn't arrived, yet, but after seeing your upgrades I'm sure I could do some upgrades for it, too.
You've saved me tons of time trying to figure it out on my own. One question: can it be upgraded to have an internal CD/DVD drive?
I have one and mine had a CD/DVD drive, I don't use it so I took it out.
I'm going to put a 1660ti in this one I bought, it should work pretty well provided nothing else takes much to power. Sound good?

hi...i just purchased a MSI Gaming GeForce GTX 1650 and it does have a 6 pin power connection. In your video you said a GTX 1650 doesnt need the extra power cable...are you sure about that? Also, are you pulling the power for the video card from the SATA connector?

I have this tower, and I am planning on upgrading it to a gaming PC. It doesn't have a DVD player installed, but it does have a slot for one on the front cover, so I am assuming that there is a slot on the motherboard to plug one in. Am I correct?
It has an extra sata connector, and a mini sata power cable, which is suitable for a cd rom 😊

a 1650 should work fine. but the 3050 6g he used is way more powerful for the same power draw

my tg01 build is the TG01-0067na. when i first got the pc I had an rx 5500 ryzen 3 3200g 8gb ram. i upgraded my cpu to a ryzen 7 3700x and ram to 2x8gb ram now i just need to upgrade gpu and ssd. it says on hp support website that my build came with 400 W Platinum efficiency power supply so i think i just need the ssd and gpu i want to get rx 6600 my motherboard is erica 8643

I just upgraded my psu to a 400w for this thing and was able to get a 3060 in there but it’s the 1 fan one and about to upgrade it to a Ryzen 7

@@GPJeff note for a 3060 you need a maximum of 500 minimum of 450 I’m running 400 but it’s not giving me anything problems but for you be safe

Can i fit a 1660 super?
i have a similar Hp pavillion desktop with this same case, and it fit perfectly fine, you just need to take out one pin from the back in order for it to stick in with extra support, the only problem is, i just need a 8 pin pcie cable for the GPU but im not sure where to even plug it in with the motherboard.

The previous version of HP desktop PC like EliteDesk series has better interior design, and screw-driver free, when I need the screw driver, it is unnecessary to buy HP desktop PC.
