Saw Kiss in Charlotte North Carolina in 1974 I met Peter Criss after the concert he had just took off his makeup I didn't know who he was at first when I was talking to him and then it dawned on me I seen the tattoos and I said this is Peter Criss other people evidently didn't know who he was he was at the side of the stage while the Roadies were taken down the equipment very nice man I will always remember that and I've been going to the kiss concerts ever since

To give credit where it’s due those guys started the whole toy rock band thing and now it’s a billion dollar business, I mean by that adult toys, movies all entertainment stuff copied them 👍🏻 Gene Simmons was a smart guy a credit to my generation. He did attempt to get my kinda of music Van Halen started. Kudos for that
I realize Tommy and Eric have been with Gene and Paul a long time, but the real KISS played their last show with Ace and Peter. I did get to see them twice, once in the 70’s and in 96 on the Reunion tour. It was outstanding. No offense to Tommy and Eric, but how many classic KISS songs were they a part of? At any rate, I’m glad they helped the band continue and I appreciate it, but they needed to call it a day for a while now. Thanks Gene and Paul.

Desmond Child, one of the greatest songwriters of rock, can certainly be considered the fifth member of Kiss during the 80s. Whether you enjoyed this controversial period of the group or not, they had to go through it to get to today. By the way, a nice mention must be given, I believe, to the exceptional interviewer of this video who, in addition to her great beauty, demonstrated as much empathy and sensitivity as positive energy and intelligence.
Hi Mike, I never knew any of that about Desmond Child. I got the impression, from listening to Paul Stanley's "Face the music" audiobook (read by Mr. humble), he'd written "I was made for loving you" and others himself? I watched the whole of “End Of The Road” and it was my first KISS show. And I enjoyed it but I was bothered (as were others in the online PPV chat) they didn't do ANYTHING special for this show? Such as, past KISS members or even specially made video tributes to Eric Carr and others who were important to the history of KISS? A huge missed opportunity. But, yes, Allison Hagendorf was superb. Plus, she came across as happy and pleased to be there and not simply you know doing a job. And the interviews were very special. Nice to see the kids of the KISS members on the show. David

They argued, regrouped, separated again, found each other again, argued again, etc... Their presence was so destructive for the group (those are the words of Paul & Gene) that paying homage to them during the show would have been practically a distraction, I dare to believe. Furthermore, Paul and Gene have often said that their characters are more important than their actors and that other people could play them. These characters will also continue interactively in the future. I imagine that's also why they ignored the contribution of Eric Carr and Bruce Kulick. Honoring them without highlighting Ace and Peter would have been akward to say the least. It was more a celebration of the group KISS including the Starchild, the Demon, the Spaceman and the Cat than of Paul, Gene, Tommy & Eric. That is how I saw it.

I'm a big Kiss fan, but this is embarrassing - Paul's voice is completely shot, the onstage banter takes too long and occurs way too often, the so-called guitar duel between Paul and Tommy is, again, embarrassing to say the least - Paul sounds like a 12yo who's just learning to play. Kiss should have retired in 1998 after the reunion tour where the Marshalls were stacked high, the sound was huge and the 4 original guys played their asses off.

I'm a big Kiss fan, but this is embarrassing - Paul's voice is completely shot, the onstage banter takes too long and occurs way too often, the so-called guitar duel between Paul and Tommy is, again, embarrassing to say the least - Paul sounds like a 12yo who's just learning to play. Kiss should have retired in 1998 after the reunion tour where the Marshalls were stacked high, the sound was huge and the 4 original guys played their asses off.
