I hope that you, your mom and other followers from your community will visit Amsterdam (again) in the future. I'm glad you corrected your Mom so quickly. Heterosexuals who think being Gay is a "choice" need to ask themselves when they "chose" to be attracted to the opposite sex.
When I came out in 1986, homosexual sex had only just been decriminalised in New Zealand. My father had proved his homophobia several times to me as was growing up which was why I waited until I was nearly 25, and in a supportive and loving relationship before coming out. As soon as I came out my father said I was no longer part of *his* family, and not to contact my grandmother, relatives back in Scotland, etc. At that time, because both my parents were brought up to believe a woman did what her husband said, my mother, in tears, studded with my father. After my sister's wedding, my partner and I left NZ for Australia. However, upon my grandfather's death, I'd inherited stuff in Scotland which my father was determined to have back, so he commenced court action. To prevent hiring lawyers in 3 countries, I returned to New Zealand, while my partner stayed in Australia. It was only supposed to be for 3 months max ... but my father drew it out more and more. Seeing what he was doing, I resigned everything to my 2nd cousin still living in Scotland so my father wouldn't see anything of it, and the income would remain in Scotland. A decade later, my parents separated, and my mother, sister, and her family wanted to get in contact with me. We did so, and my mother apologised for her earlier attitude saying she had been brought up to obey the head of the house and that was my father, but the separation and subsequent divorce had opened her eyes and she realised agreed been wrong. Our relationship isn't perfect, but it's a lot better than it was when my homophobic father was around. However, mum has returned to Scotland, abs it sends like she won't be able to fly back here. I have multiple myeloma so my chances of getting back to Scotland to see her reduce day by day as the disease progresses (currently in remission so feeling better), but I'm currently unlikely to see her again except through messenger, etc.
I'm so sorry for what happened to you and these stories mean a lot to me, you went through it so less of us have to go through the same, thank you❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Art for the video of you and your mom. The video was heart warming, and nice to see. Please cherish your mother and your time with her. Thank you fpr opening up about your time together in Europe. Please keep doing what you do with your channel.
You know I've been a fan of yours for a long while now, and I've simply adored your mom ever since you "introduced" her to us all. And even longer, when you told of the sacrifice she made to put you on the path of having the life you've always wanted. Your relationship with your mom is truly beautiful. My mom is 80, and I call her a few times per week and see her a couple times per year. This has been the case since my dad died in 2019. We have always been a close-knit family, but my mom has needed someone to lean on more than ever since we lost my dad. I'm grateful for her every day, and take nothing for granted! Пожалуйста, передай маме твоей прекрасной самые лучшие пожелания от меня! 💖💖💖

When the staff put Bobby and Mishka in bed and they unpacked for you I got to say that is really some great service. So glad you got to meet Evel hope that's how you spell it ...sorry if not.
