Who’s is the Fiat 500? New project car Martin? 👍🏻 Perfect time to own a convertible! If only it would stop raining for a while! British summer as per usual 😆😜😆
I love how you and your dad ease through all this. My memories are skinned knuckles dropped washers and bolts and more swear words than a swearing convention. Great vid again Gary.
@@ProjectMan Hi Gary and Martin I signed up to your Retrostore and ProjectMan channels you are fantastic and I admire your works you are fantastic greetings from Italy Riccardo
@project man Hi Gary wow what a pain to get that rear glass out I remember when I worked at rover as a mechanic the rover 200 coupe windows were the same but a bit bigger as you can imagine and heavy nice one Gary 👍
Hi Martin & Gary. Great video as always. I bet you have already seen it but, I would just recheck the alignment settings of that glass panel lads. When you tested the roof ( 18.10 mins ) the front drivers door glass is the incorrect side of the rear glass you installed and will damage the new rubber seal. A bit of a ball ache, but could you adjust the rear glass runners with the front door glass raised ?. Good luck lads.
little life hack , get some small round magnets flatter the better , a tiny bit of glue and then put 1 magnet in each socket and drop a bit of glue in there . bobs ya uncle you'll never lose another nut :D
Hello I've got mk4 astra and my roof is just beeping I've changed the two front latches and it's still beeping wondering if you can help Thanks Stephen
Another good Father and Son teamwork how to video. I would have liked to see and hear the new speakers. Vauxhall ones are very poor and the paper cones always split. Made a massive difference when I changed mine in my Astra H.
Its nice to have a living haynes manual on hand. What a Dad..
Just look it up on youtube like he does....it's there for everyone...:-)
Great job Gary and the voice of experience spot on 👍👍👍👍

All fun and games 👍🏻
The flange on flange nuts is to help spread the load over a larger area and they are also less likely to work loose than a standard nut.
Good teamwork 👍 thanks for sharing
Nice job on the astra Gary 👍

Lol
Who’s is the fiat 500 Martin?
No Jimmy's
👍👍
nice plug mart :) hahahaha
All that for a rubber seal. hate to think what a dealer would charge for that job. no wonder cars get written off so quickly by insurance companies.
Wouldn't be cheap 👍🏻
Just checked with a mate who works for vauxhall, been told in the region of about 390 labour costs plus part.
Just shows ya 👌
Boom first like first comment.

Hey Dad...leave your ego at home, and just help.
I don't have an ego, Its banter. Did I really need to say that? BTW I was at home.
