I got married last October and was having wisdom tooth issues at the beginning of the year. I got my wisdom tooth removed last April. I had to get two removed (1 on each side). Got them done ASAP because of the pain and did them a month apart because I wouldn't be able to eat. I say all this to say. Get them removed as soon as you can. It took me 4 days to really recover, and I still had some pain for at least a week.

On wisdom teeth removals- 99% of ppl are good within a couple days. I couldn’t eat solid food for two weeks and lost 10+ lbs 💀 but that’s not normal!!

I got all 4 wisdom teeth removed at once and I was put under. The worst thing for me was the swelling after didn’t feel better until 3 days later. Definitely recommend getting all done at the same time so you’re only put under once and done. Best of luck 🤞🏼
OMG! I just did one at a time and didn't get put under, but for all of them, I see why you did. Swelling was bad for me too.
This 👆 just get them all over with. That’s what I did, and that’s also what my husband did. It really wasn’t that bad and then you only have to recover once 😅

For wisdom teeth removal I recommended getting them all out at once, just get it over with and then you also only have to recover the one time. Get some pudding, jello, mashed potatoes, mashed avocados, bone broths, etc to eat and you’ll be good to go!
I did the speech before our ceremony, for it to be unplugged throughout the whole ceremony. I feel like it helped the photographer & it made everyone be completely involved in the ceremony. I also did the same with our flowers. Brought them to reception & used for decor. ❤

I got married in September (my wedding day was 9/23/12). My wedding was simple yet elegant. Where we got married, the venue had a food tasting. Also we had more food at the table for more options. Had a lot of food. Also, the bar was open all night. The desert table was on them. They decorated. Just told them our colors. Also at the food tasting, we got to pick the flavor of our cake. I picked red velvet. Yup
I have a mouth a size of a small kid. B4 i got braces at 18yrs old. I needed to get my four fang teeth out. Even if i need to get a mold of my teeth, um. I have to use small kid mold thing. That how small my mouth is
You have great perspective. I don’t even know who I was when I was in my 20’s. I know I was a parent of two babies, and struggling to hold a marriage together with a partner determined to destroy hiss children’s lives. I guess I was just a struggling mom back then. My daughter is now 34 and my son is 27 we came out on the other side happy and healthy. And that’s alll that really matters.

I got all 4 taken out at once because my oral surgeon said I will not want to do it again and he was 100% correct. I was put under and the recovery was NOT bad at all especially compared to what I expected it to be I was so scared to do this I have so much anxiety around surgeries and procedures. I recommend to get it over with to anyone who asks. A couple of days of icing and a couple weeks of eating softer foods and then it’s over, 🎉
I had my wisdom tooth removal years back. I can tell you the doctor I went to, he is in CA though. I had an awesome experience and speedy recovery if you're interested. At that time I paid close to 3K and I elected to be put to sleep. pretty sure wisdom teeth removals are done via local anesthetic
you will want a ice pack while recovering, and soft food, yogurt, smoothie, broth, but i only had one tooth pulled in January and only had to have laughing gas

Get them done as soon as you can. I had my wisdom teeth out 3 weeks before my wedding. I had 2 impacted and the others were not impacted. I was still swollen when I got married. My daughter, who is now 28 years old, was told at 18, when she had my insurance to get them removed. She was too scared, she had braces for 3 years, she waited longer than she should have and, caused her significant agony. Get them out, the earlier the better!!!
My wisdom teeth experience wasn’t too bad some minor pain after so I just made sure to keep up with the pain meds and the soft foods after. Mine cost around 2K with insurance I’m from Canada.
I have an idea of your wedding, Allisa Rose. Just get a leg of prosciutto and then someone from the venue can cut it fresh from the leg for you and your family. 🙂
The car door incident made me think of the two different times people ran into back of us (car) at a light and since there wasn’t any damage or only scratch, we told them not to worry about. Sadly I know of it had be reversed they would have immediately made a huge deal out of it. We didn’t want to sit there waiting for police to do report over something so minor though!

Depending on what kind of insurance you have, wisdom tooth removal surgery will fall under your health insurance! I have Blue Cross Blue Shield and it was filed under health insurance. Just so you can check before you upgrade your dental insurance!
That happened to me - door flung open in the wind and hit my *brand new* (2 day old) car. Except instead of feeling bad the guy laughed. I don’t think he realized I was in the car when it happened at first. I made him pay me. He had no remorse. He laughed!

It is important to check with your insurance provider to understand the coverage for wisdom teeth removal.
That’s not true it depends on your insurance coverage. My dental insurance covers 50% for tooth extractions.

I would let family members who are coming to bring they’re kids . Like I let my sister in law to bring her daughter who was a baby at the time but then again my oldest daughter who was 1 years old was my flower girl .

It sounds like her dad had really good insurance and she wanted to stay with that. I, on the other hand, go with like the least expensive plan.
I would recommend you just remove what needs to be removed. It’s not that bad of a recovery and less swelling. I’ve don’t then one at a time as they’ve popped through without anesthesia and they literally get them out in 5 min and I’m back to normal in a couple days.
