I still remember driving my 1996 dodge avenger from Michigan to myrtle beach in 1996 for spring break..... It was so different back then to what it has become.. That conversation brought back some great memories too!!!
The ship San Jose built in 1697 and launched in 1698 had the greatest treasure lost. It was a 64 gun , three masted , three decked galleon , 128 feet in length, 40 feet across the beam.
It's really cool seeing people come in from different states like that guy from Myrtle Beach where your dad was from. Y'all are really good people I really love to see people come in just to say hi and stuff. One day I pray I get there.
Myrtle Beach..I had so much fun,,there as a kid myself in the 80's..Playing the 1950's Baseball games for a dime..Air hockey,,sket ball,,and yes got a south Carolina belt from,,your grandparents ..I do believe ,,WoW,,small world
Another score for your Dad on the Camera, great deal. Was great to see someone come into your shop that you can relate to about Myrtle Beach. I'm sure lots of memories come flooding back when you get to talking to people from there. The last part with the Matco tools, that was decent and you will probably get to score some really great stuff when the guy calls you that he's ready to sell more stuff. Hope you all have a blessed week my friend.
The shipwreck items were really interesting. Glad you gave the guy £90. Of course the yard sales your Dad always does his thing there. Keep up the good work and continue to be yourselves. Thanks.
My Pops was an Electrician for the Oakland County Road Commission and was name Red Light Bob cause he was always working on traffic signals. He use to have so many old Traffic signals and my mom made him get rid of most of them 30 years ago. he still has a few in the basement thank GOD!! Those are amazing relics of the old days.. It's amazing how much those can sell for these days! I'm going to get one of his working and put it in the corner of my my Living room and have it on a switch.. Hopefully that guy calls you and you can score that!!!
