As a professional videographer I use professional equipment for 99 % of my shots ... BUT I think that all these "tools" have their place ... I am using my x2 in timelapses at weddings without worrying about the frame. It is used for 1-4 second clips so nobody will even have the time for pixel peeping. I use the go2 at the Christian Orthodox baptisms just for the moment that they get the baby in the batismal font. Every tool has its place and if you know WHY and WHEN you need a tool is the secret for success . From my perspective, gimbal , tripod , action cams , everything is vital for a video that stands out . That is my humble opinion and sorry if my English isn't that good and I made mistakes. It's not my main language.

Have you used the auto timelapse recording much? This is probably the most interesting feature to me. For example, can it go a whole day on a single charge, recording like 5 second clips every 10 minutes? And if so, how "usable" is the video from that in a normal day? Would love to see an example video from this kind of thing.
Hi I have left it charging with a powerbank while capturing sunset or sunrise outside my house 😊not able to last past a few hours but the powerbank keeps it powered no issue

Main problem of this camera is low FOV. I use it from first day, for hiking, running and family shoots. I hope someone will make some kind of lens mod for this :) Second thing is, you have to rememer that these camera have bulit in battery... after few years of use it may be heavily worn. My gopro8 ist still rockn after batteries change...

I always carry with me two camera, Dji Osmo Pocket 3 and Insta360 go3 (not s), and you know which one I use must? GO3. Is good to have video quality like Osmo Pocket 3 has but the fun and versatility of GO3 always win for me. I'm very excited to see what Insta360 will do with the GO4. The GO3 release makes all other "action" cameras obsolete in my opinion.

GO3s biggest USP is by far the Baseball-Cap clamp / PoV. For all other usages Action 5 is by far the better choice in terms of handling etc.
X4 is best for "special" shots like fake drone shots or being able to film in very weird angles on a long (3m) stick.
You have to be experienced though with editing 360 cam footage as the insta360 app is just trash in terms of productivity simple as that (compared to DaVinci / Adobe Premiere)
POV is definitely where it shines best indeed👍
