    Hey, awesome video!
You recommended reading books focusing on more general topics - that is, not specific to a certain technology like React or C#. React in particular has a very lean API, there are only a handful of domain-specific functions or concepts you need to learn to get started with it. So knowledge of React involves for the most part understanding of the underlying technologies - JS, the DOM, component-based design, etc since it builds on top of them. For this reason I think that reading a book about it can be useful in general since it would focus on more stable and established technologies and concepts. I don't mean to seem defensive, I just don't find the example very appropriate.

Thank you for your comment! I understand your point. My message should have been “do not read books for technologies you are not going to use”, since in the past I have read books only because there was a hype around a specific technology. If a person wants to learn more about React and the architecture around it, because she is going to use it in the next few years, then she should go for it. I guess I did not make my message clear enough. Anyway, React books are for JS developers, I tried to show the ones which made me understood C# better. Thank you again!

    Thanks for the list!
How exactly do you read such books? Do you just read through the whole thing, stop at certain points and play around with what you’ve read so far, or stop frequently to test out any examples you find interesting?

iGameplayBG I usually read books diagonally, and if I find something really interesting, I read the details. If it’s a more hardcore knowledge - I try to implement it in a sample solution. But this works for me - you may try another approach. I just prefer to use my time as efficiently as possible.

What do you recommend if I want to dive into the C#/.NET Core performance optimization ?

    • @CodeItUpByAMBITIONED

If you are talking about C# code optimization in general - read CLR via C# and books for Algorithms and Data Structures.

You might wanna check out Writing High-Performance .NET Code.
Pro .NET Memory Management is also recommended a lot, however I haven't read it yet, since it's pretty hardcore and I don't need that level of detailed knowledge at the moment.

Hello I have read the Pro ASP.NET MVC5 by Adam Freeman ... and I must say that he is really good at explaining, loved the book and learned a lot ... What I am trying to say is that I wouldn't doubt Adam Freeman books :) ... have fun and stay safe :)

This channel’s subscribers are not only Bulgarian, so I prefer using English in the comments. The question is “What kind of language is used in the Design Patterns book?”. It is not C#. I read it 4 years ago, so I am not very sure whether it was a real language or a pseudo-code one, but the samples are Object-Oriented and very similar to C#. You will not have any issues understanding them.

The examples are in C++ and Smalltalk - a rarely used language but sufficiently close to mainstream OOP ones like Java, C#, etc.

Which book I should start to learn Asp.Net in 2020. I have seen most of the books are coming with Asp.Net core. I am C# developer with good experience on windows applications. Can I directly start with Asp.Net core or you recommend to read Asp.Net MVC first. Please recommend one single book to learn Asp.Net technology.

Start with ASP.NET Core, it's newer and better. No need to learn the old framework, only if you're interested in how it looked back then, how was it working, etc. I'd recommend online tutorials and lessons, then try books - that is, for a complete beginner.
