THOUSANDS of women have found freedom with this PDF freebie of mine: 3 Lies about Time Christian Women Tell Themselves & 3 Truths That Will Set You Free: dianakerr.com/workbook
Hi Diana, this really resonates with me. I totally agree that sometimes the most important things to devote our time to are not on the to do list. I think I was raised with a high work ethic, so I value it - which really is a good thing, but I have never thought about it being an idol. I started taking a sabbath about a year ago, and it has been so good for me knowing I will have that day to rest. Thank you for sharing this!💗
Check the other comments and you'll see you're not alone! You CAN change, friend! I'm so glad to hear you're working on it! (The HS is working right with you!!)
Diana, I'm so grateful for your thoughtfulness and honesty sharing your own journey. This video reminded me of a tip to put "Think much of GOD" at the top of my to-do list (from Mike Novotny's "3 Words That Will Change Your Life," which I'm reading because you recommended!).
I like the way you said "more of a Mary than a Martha," because it's not that we don't want to ever embrace our Martha-like tendencies and GET STUFF DONE to the glory of God, but not at the expense of sitting at his feet, of course! :)
This was wonderful and exactly what I needed to hear as my life has taken a turn recently with caring for those of my life who are ill. Many blessings to you and your work.
Oh Jennifer, I'm so sorry to hear that! My 1 year old was just diagnosed with type 1 diabetes so I can relate a little bit. It's wearisome and it definitely has a way of loosening your grip on the idol of productivity, which is sooo frustrating but so good!
Hey Lynn! I actually am planning to do a video about this in late summer! The short answer is that I became certified through Christian Coach Institute!
@@DianaKerr Probably a combination of 2 and 3; I realize that my joy/mood was dependent on how productive I am on a given day. Looking for the many things I have to be grateful for and not elevate productivity as 'the' thing in my everyday life.
Hey! I have overall really liked a lot of things about it! Unfortunately my diastasis recti is being stubborn and not resolving so I am going to try a bit of PT to see if that can help!

I love that you and your family prioritize the sabbath! Even God rested. 🙏🏽❤️
Yes! Thank you!
I have all of these. Realizing with age that it takes away my inner peace and joy. Working to make change.

Ahhh! Yay! Yes! Love that book! So glad you picked it up! Pastor Mike is going to be on this channel in May chatting with me about his newest book!
Thank you for opening my eyes to this! I often have to remind myself to be more of a Mary than a Martha.

Diane. I love your videos.
I have been mentoring other Christian women. How and where can I get to become a Certified Christian Life Coach.

Can you do a review of Everymother? I had a baby 3 weeks ago and would like to eventually try the program for diactus recti. Does it work?
