This is honestly impressive, and I fully agree it will be treated as an art piece, because I think it's much more that than a puzzle. Pure engineering and human brainpower art.
Top 5 groups you should be afraid of: 5: Spongebob SquarePants cast members 4: the population of Canada 3: Engineers that made the biggest Rubik’s cube 2: Japan Engineers that made the smallest Rubik’s cube 1: Tony Fisher
I remember that many years ago, there used to be a fully functional cube that was 6mm all around. It was called the subatomic cube. I still have mine in a little bottle that was turned into a necklace.
I don't think he has to. He made all the world record puzzles with modest means and his own hands in his garage. For me he remains the real record holder!
Now we just need a Rubik's Cube as big as the Fairyfly and we'll be set. If you don't know, Fairyflies are the smallest insects in the world, they measure at 0.020-0.039 in (0.5-1.0 mm).
Highest order cube and smallest 3x3 in the same month is insane
Small 3x3 was built in August/July? (I'm not quibbling, I really don't know)
Good work as always, Tony! Can't wait to see you make the 0.1mm cube for the 100th anniversary

when times changed and tech improved, he came back and cooked again
So many world records being set recently, what a time to be alive

Where can we buy this rubik ?
As stated the price is $5,250. If you are still interested I will tell you.
Oh wow, that insane
Me and a friend are working on a 4.98mm cube funnily enough
Hi dood you are so cool you inspired me to learn 4bld and now I have a 8:40.07 at home
5.0 mm equal Rubik's 50th anniversary.
This is more like an engineering feet to prove that this can be done.
Awensome 😮😮
