@@vergillives9890 Honestly, not that I can remember. But it's a known fact that Reine is extremely savage when speaking in ID so her and IRyS would be a fun duo xD

I like the combination of Flare saying she’s foul-mouthed off-stream *and* members like Fauna describing her as being very princess-like. A good combo.
Does she often swear in English? I dunno if those moments just evade the clips all the time, but I feel like (as primarily a clip watcher) I don't recall ever hearing her swear in English. Though there's a chance that I missed some parts where it was too natural to notice🤣
Remember that one time Bae had a Japanese stream where IRyS joined? Bae mentioned she is more savage in Japanese. Which means IRyS is more toxic when speaking Japanese and not just in Splatoon.
Yeah, the time I remember her flipping out the most was that one time in Only Up when she fell for several straight minutes back to the ground and she was mostly using Japanese there, I think that's the language she really lets loose in when she needs to.
I made a halfassed attempt to translate "Shobon" and "Pien" into something equivalent, but it's obvious there won't be a perfect match, but I'm curious to hear if anyone can think of a better fitting word pair than my "mope / sadge"?? lol
Transliteration is great, but it's not translation. So the task is instantly shifted to the viewer. I'm here doing subtitles because I want people who don't speak any Japanese to laugh at some jokes and conversations so I try to avoid leaving in words that might prevent someone from getting the punchline! @@nuiguruminiclips In that case, leave the transliteration in-line and break out a TL note with an asterisk or something. That way anyone who understands the transliteration will read right through, and for those who don't get it, you have space for a more complete explanation.

IRyS manage to sound outdated in both English and Japanese is somewhat fascinating 🤣
That's part of her charm
