Except he got the history of the Saucy Sally wrong! Matt's doesn't make it. The 5-8 Club does. There is debate on whether Matt's or 5-8 made the first Lucy. Matt's has a story behind theirs, so they tend to get the PR, but they don't do variations on the Lucy. They just do standard burgers, cheeseburger, classic Lucy. 5-8 has the variations.
Fast food is as unhealthy as it is an advanced food science. The amount of work that goes into making a product viable is ridiculous. The occasional trash meal can have its own mental benefits.
Josh worrying about and caring more about cooking hygiene than most of the contestants of this show was completely unexpected.
I think it comes down to Josh having massive respect for the Sorted crew and wanting to be ever so slightly less disgusting in their presence 😂😂 at least that's what I hope lol

Which if you have seen any episode of Mythical Kitchen then you know that Josh and cooking hygiene tend to be like oil and water at times.
Surely he’s at an advantage as Kush isn’t there to throw bananas and other foods at him or to provide the flame thrower at short notice 😂
Josh is so aggressively ADHD that he's likely to throw his own bananas. And we love him for it.

I've been hoping for that one for years. Throw Rhett and/or Link into the mix, too, just for the pure hilarity and chaos. I would also take a chef battle between Josh and Kush, since they have very similar mischievous energy.

i just kind of assumed Trevor was just off camera with a bunch of bananas when the video started.... and was wildly disappointed when he wasn't

That was a very Josh cooking experience, forgot he was timed, didn't use the ingredients, changed his mind on the recipe, remembered he was timed at the end. Hilarious. Looking forward to more shenanigans. Are you teaming up with Max and cooking something from A Forme of Cury?

Chef remote controls normals across the ocean, Ebbers guiding Trevor and Josh guiding Barry would be an incredible video to watch.

Ebbers and Josh are a dream combo. I love how you can tell they both know it too. Just a bit of a mutual “yeah ok, I see what this guy’s doing, I can play along” vibe that really really works

Wow, this was an absolute roller coaster of a burger challenge! 😂 Josh's energy and food trivia had me both entertained and educated. That burger looked messy but delicious, and I'm seriously tempted to try making a 'Saucy Sally' now. Props to the mythical chef for bringing such a unique twist to the table. The deliciousness of a burger could be gauged by how many napkins are required. And "The splash zone" answer of "We've all been there." made the 10 year old boy in me giggle.
I love the idea of Josh being the first person to not finish in time because he just kept spitting obscure burger facts. So on brand.

When I first saw this series, I always wanted Josh to be a guest but given they're in different countries I never thought it would happen - so needless to say, this is AWESOME!

Josh's food history knowledge is crazy. Also this is the most ive ever seen him clean and wash his hands 😂
Josh is literally the only one I actually recall both washing his hands AND talking throughout his 10 minutes.
What we need is a Sorted Burger cookbook, with all of these recipes in it, along with the "trivia" questions and stories.
I’ve never seen Josh wash his hands so many times unprompted before. This is incredible.

Man! I was really hoping Josh would give Kush a run for his money for top spot but he still made a kickass burger.
I really want to see Josh in a pass it on, I don't know if he would help or hinder the team more with his energy.
That would be incredible! I feel like it would fully depend wether he's first or last to cook. Josh is the type of chef who lays out ingredients and even he has no idea what he's trying to do, but by the end he can make a gorgeous meal out of pretty much whatever is in front of him. 😂
I'd love to see Guga, Max Miller, and Josh Weissman on the burger challenge! As always, anything with Sorted is a great thing.

@@SortedFood All I can think of is that scene from the beginning of "Predator" where Carl Weathers and Arnold lock hands and put a full flex on, which has obviously become a meme. And it's a meme I think James and Josh could mimic quite swimmingly.

I think the scoring system on this should have been different. There should have been points out of 10 awarded for the quality of the burger and that should then be multiplied by the number of seconds under 10 minutes to get a points score. So an 8/10 burger in 6 minutes would have scored 8*240=1920 points. Thus the leader would have combined speed and deliciousness.
If you guys are looking for more state side chefs to take on the challenge you have got to try and get the one and only Burger Scholar George Motz to do it literally the perfect person to take on the 10 Minute Burger Challenge although coming up with questions might be difficult XD

My favorite Sorted video of all time was the one where you gave Jamie and Ben some money, set them loose in Barrow market, and had them make a dish. I would love to see another version of this, with Josh vs Ben. I imagine there are some amazing food markets in the States.

Dinner Friday night was a Saucy Sally at the rival to Matt's Bar, the 5-8 Club! Absolutely delicious and messy. All the napkins needed.

I know Josh mentioned the Jucy Lucy from Matt's Bar but the Saucy Sally is actually from the 5-8 Club who also has a Juicy Lucy of their own. Yes, the spelling of 'juicy' is different between the two. Both restaurants are found in the Twin Cities area. I'm a 5-8 Club fan myself.

The way Chef Josh went overboard with the panko breadcrumbs and condiments, it reminded me of my writing: Interesting but all over the place and trying to stick to a word limit.
