The way geometric progression was used to solve token bucket problem is the actual solution. Every other solution that I have seen just use the GP formula directly. I was unsure why that was true. This video helped me clear that.

in 1 / 10 sec, we are sending both Capacity of token bucket data and incoming data from HOST........then why are you only considering incoming data only i.e. 20 * 0.1 = 2 MB ... according to you this 2 MB includes only incoming data, but it also includes token bucket capacity data....
Sir in 15:35 it is not 3 second,it will be 2.1s ...because upto that time packet can be sent to the network at the rate of 20 pckts/sec..after that it will be 2 pckts/sec

GP method is the easiest and no any other idea is required to solve this problem , just find the geometric progression and its done
Where do these two algorithms fit in with AIMD congestion controlling technique. Also what about tcp reno, tahoe?
