The Outlawz said when Pac recorded this song, that even he himself was shocked at the things he was saying. They said this song made him feel that he was the greatest that ever done it. And I agree 100%.

He doesnt say that the preacher is a crackhead more like that being a crackhead is like eternal fire. its a metaphor, if you are addicted to crack you go through hell personally and for addicted people it seems like there is no way out of it (the Eternal Fire from the bible is the place where the sinners get send to as a punishment for their sins by god where they burn forever eternally). Its a real clever line since hes literary saying indirectly thorugh his metaphor that eternal fire is already real ( if you are a crackhead for example ) which in contrast to the religious topic would be blasphemous. This song is pretty deep. Also the lyrics on that video are not always correct, the next few lines even more crazier : Why you got these kids' minds thinkin' that they evil?
While the preacher bein' freaky, you say, "honor God's people" > its a clear reference of the pedophilia going on in relgious communities while even portraying their twisted selfportrayals and so on. Pac had deep knowledge for a 25 year old. This song is a master piece and shows what a great songwriter he was also.

No it is not.... it is about the corruption in the church.. i doubt he thought of the pedophilia thing, since it was not in the media in the 90s...

@@Roybaaa It goes well beyond that and anything u could imagine but I’ll keep it short he was just an actor a great actor playing a role that role was to seem revolutionary and then he was cut down, this is a signature tactic of Hollywood/CIA/Mossad any penatrating voices MLK, Malcolm X, etc. all met the same fates were any of these people real?? When you look at cointelpro and many of these organizations you will find out that not much is as it seems and these people may still very well be walking around maybe in other countries maybe uncharted islands Who really knows but it sure wasn’t Orlando Anderson who handed PAC his fate it was something much more unassuming and much more power this is why the night in Vegas is so twisted with anomalies that’s how intelligence ops work so u can never get to the truth...All scripted perfectly to remove PAC from his position and get the point across not to be a political opponent....

    GOING POP
Explanation real quick... in the 90's, Hip Hop was considered "underground". Rappers who went mainstream, like Hammer or Vanilla Ice, were call "Pop" as in Pop Music. _Going Pop_ meant doing what was popular outside outside of the culture, like following the crowd, or adhering to conformity. Ice Cube, for example, was nicknamed "d'voidofpop" because he managed to have platinum records without selling out.
    So when 2Pac says
_"Mama, tell me if I'm wrong._
    _Is God just another cop_
    _waiting to beat my ass_
    _if I don't go Pop?"_
He is asking if God is just another authority who will strike him down if he doesn't fall into conformity... dope.

Nah, he didn’t call the preacher a crackhead. He’s asking the preachers, have they ever saw a crackhead… if so, then they should know that the ghetto is HELL, in real life.
PAC’s saying we’re living in hell right now, that we don’t have wait to die to go to Hell (or Heaven, as he said in “The Lost Vibe interview”).

God has a plan, and the bible unfolds that wonderful plan
    Through the message of prophecy
God sent Jesus into this world to be our savior
And that Christ is returning, someday soon
To unfold the wonderful plan of eternity
For my life and your life
As long as we're cooperating with God
By accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and savior
Unless the Lord does return in the coming seven days
We'll see you next time here on This Week in Bible Prophecy
    [Intro: 2Pac]
2Pac, don't start that blasphemy in here!
    Makaveli, the new breed
And I remember what my pops told me
    The new word, follow me
Remember what my pops told me
    [Verse 1: 2Pac]
My family tree consists of drug dealers, thugs and killers
Strugglin', known to hustle, screamin', "fuck they feelings!"
I got advice from my father, all he told me was this:
"Nigga, get off your ass if you plan to be rich!
There's ten rules to the game, but I'll share with you two
Know niggas gon' hate you for whatever you do
Now, rule one: get your cash on, M.O.B.
That's Money Over Bitches, 'cause they breed envy
Now, rule two is a hard one: watch for phonies
Keep your enemies close, nigga, watch your homies"
It seemed a little unimportant, when he told me, I smiled
Picture jewels bein' handed to an innocent child
I never knew, in my lifetime, I'd live by these rules
Initiated as an outlaw, studyin' rules
Now, papa ain't around, so I gotta recall
Or come to grips with bein' written on my enemy's walls
Promised if I have a seed, I'ma guide him right
Dear Lord, don't let me die tonight
I got words for my comrades, listen and learn
Ain't nothin' free, get back what you earned
No doubt, gettin' higher than a motherfucka, bless me, please
This Thug Life'll be the death of me
    C'mon, yeah
    [Bridge: 2Pac]
And I remember what my poppa told me
Remember what my pops told me
    Blasphemy!
[Hook: Prince Ital Joe & 2Pac]
Nuf for dem dat steal in the name of da Lord
Dem a tell nuff lie, but holdin' my bird in a cloud
(Remember what my pops told me)
Using the name of the lord in vain
    (blas-blas-blasphemy, blasphemy)
(Remember what my pops told me)
While de people in de ghetto feel nuff pain
    [Verse 2: 2Pac]
We pro'ly in Hell, already, our dumb asses not knowin'
Everybody kissin' ass to go to Heaven ain't goin'
Put my soul on it, I'm fightin' devil niggas daily
Plus the media be crucifyin' brothers severely
Tell me I ain't God's son; nigga, momma a virgin
We got evicted, had to leave the 'burbs
Back in the ghetto, doin' wild shit
Lookin' at the sun don't pay
Criminal mind all the time, wait for Judgment Day
They say Moses split the Red Sea
I split the blunt and rolled a fat one up, deadly
Babylon beware, comin' for the Pharoah's kids
Retaliation, makin' legends off the shit we did
Still bullshittin', niggas in Jerusalem waitin' for signs
God comin', she's just takin' her time (haha!)
Livin' by the Nile, while the water flow
I’m contemplatin' plots, wonderin' where the thought’ll go
Brothas gettin' shot, comin' back resurrected
It's just that raw shit, nigga, check it (that raw shit)
    [Bridge: 2Pac]
And I remember what my poppa told me
Remember what my poppa told me

Nuff a dem a steal in the name of the lord
Dem a tell nuff lie, but holding a bird in a cloud
(Remember what my pops told me)
Using the name of the lord in vain
(Remember what my pops told me)
While de people in de ghetto feel nuff pain
    (What!)
    [Verse 3: 2Pac]
The preacher want me buried, why? 'Cause I know he a liar
Have you ever seen a crackhead? That's eternal fire
Why you got these kids' minds thinkin' that they evil?
While the preacher bein' freaky, you say, "honor God's people"
Should we cry when the Pope die? My request:
We should cry if they cried when we buried Malcolm X
Mama, tell me: am I wrong? Is God just another cop
Waitin' to beat my ass if I don't go pop?
Memories of a past time, givin' up cash to the leaders
Knowin' damn well they ain't gonna feed us
In my brain, how can you explain time in B.C.?
It's hard enough to live, now, in these times of greed
They say Jesus is a kind man
Well, he should understand times in this crime land
My thug nation, do what you gotta do
    But know you gotta change
Try to find a way to make it out the game
I leave this and hope God can see my heart is pure
Is Heaven just another door? I leave this here
I leave this and hope God see my heart is pure
Is Heaven just another door? And my people say
[Hook: Prince Ital Joe & 2Pac]
Nuff a dem a steal in the name of the lord
Dem a tell nuff lie, but holding a bird in a cloud
(Remember what my pops told me)
Using the name of the lord in vain
(Can't I remember what my poppa told me, blasphemy)
While de people in de ghetto feel nuff pain
    [Collision]
Our Father, who art in Heaven
    Hallowed be Thy name
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done
In Earth as it is in Heaven
Give us this day, our daily bread
As we give up our debts
    As we forgive our debt-ors
    Lead us not into temptation
    But deliver us from evil
For God's is the kingdom and the power
And the glory forever and ever and ever

Can you react to Plastic by PM Dawn? It's a diss towards KRS One after he and his friends attacked them on stage during their performance.
He attacked them because Prince Be (one of the members) said in an interview "KRS One calls himself a teacher. A teacher of what?"
It wasn't him being disrespectful (they were actually fans of him growing up), simply questioning why he would call himself a teacher.
The song is also a diss towards rappers who portray themselves as something they're not.
    Here's the video ua-cam.com/video/P0No7iAqLHM/v-deo.html
