And you know how competitive Korea is, there are so many great and talented visual groups out there, but there are few that got to the top and retain it (other than the Big 3 companies in Korea). However, they, as individuals, are gaining a lot of the popularities and success after 3 of the members went on survival shows as contestants and all have debuted and 1 as a Dance trainer both in China, 3 in China (Wenhan on Idol Producer Season 2 with a temporary group called UNINE, Yixuan on ALL FOR ONE with a temporary group called New Storm, and Yibo on Produce 101 China as a Dance Trainer), and in Korea, we have Seungyoun on Produce X 101 and just got debuted with his temporary group called X1. Besides Yibo went on to Produce 101 China as a dance trainer, he also gains a lot of popularity as an actor from his recent dramas, "Gank Your Heart" and especially "The Untamed". We only have updates of the 4 members of UNIQ, we don't know what's up with Sungjoo, I think someone said he's continuing his studies while is still continuing his idol career at the same time. So yeah, I would the group will definitely gain more popularity as they are all gaining a lot of success individually right now in both Korea and China.

I guess it has to do also with their personality as Yixuan also never fails to include Uniq in his various interviews. Meanwhile, Yibo & Seungyoun doesn't - that's where anxiety of most fans comes in because at the end of the day, fans only want reassurance that they are still friends, connected despite not having active group activities.
