Unfortunately the DSM has decided to present everything as a spectrum with the two ends being polar opposites. It makes no sense. They have autism on one end and dependant personality disorder on the other. But I'm diagnosed with both! Attention deficit disorder is presented at one end and obsessive compulsive disorder is at the other. Again I am diagnosed with both! They don't seem to understand that it is everything does not fit nicely into little boxes.
