Ive been installing various types of siding and replacement windows for over 30 years. Proud to see a young man doing a very above avrage job of capping a round top window. Nice explanation in teaching up and comers! Great job!!!
i have bent enough coil to go to the moon and back .but i hate a radius. you did a great job.not caulking that stone was a good move you know what that would have looked like lol.
My boss says you have to us brickmold all the time on round tops because it will not look good. I worked with a guy; he used similar techniques. Thank you for proving him wrong again and honestly doing an amazing job.
Thank you. Once you figure it out, it’s the best way honestly. I have had some argue on here with me about even tho I’m providing concrete evidence how well it works and looks 🤣🤷🏻♂️ some people just don’t want to learn and have a dime in the dozen attitude
@@aluminumtrim you got yourself a new subscriber!! I'm a window / metal installer from southern Ontario, Niagara Falls. I'll check out all your video's. Thanks brother! Your instructions are simple and easy to watch and follow along. Excellent craftsmanship, great skills
Nice work!!!! Im about to go on my own and really interested in ur knowledge. If you could help me and give me tios and school me on aum things. I been doing windows for a long time and just really want all the knowlegde i can get from people. We can exchange emails to get intouch. Thank you
Seems like more work than you need. For the curve, just take the center of the window, ans use that as your radius. I never measure anything like this with a tape...
Sure thing. You aint wrong. You do you. My results do most of the talking. Im trying to discus this for beginners. I have a few faster ways to get these results. But I’m trying to TEACH here
Working for a company: from $50-$100. They supply materials. If for your own contract: $200-300 plus material (roll of coil and 3-4 tubes silicone). Depending on height and size. takes 30 to 60 minutes to do. I have done 13 in one day before.
Subbing means to sub- contractor the project/ work. Pass it on to a crew/ guy. Nice work though. Exactly what I’m doing, got 20 windows to cap and got the crew to assist with.

No problem. After you do a couple, they get pretty easy. Should be about 40 to 60 minutes and at least $100

What does something like this cost, labor wise?

Where did you buy the material
ABC supply is a big place to get coil. Lowes and home depot has coil also
If this works on my job tomorrow I’m subbing ! 🤣
What do you mean?
Still waiting on what that comment means….
Well, answer up
