One observation/question. I think the way potions work, you actually get attacked twice but the creature. I could be wrong but that was my read from the rulebook. You leave yourself open and actually suffer two attacks that round! Loving watching these.
Oh wow, good call, I found the passage in the book (pg29): "[Potions] can be used at any point in the adventure, even during combat. If used in combat, you miss your attack to quaff the liquid, after which the enemy gets to attack again, but you can still use your armour for both attacks. You can drink 1 potion per round of combat." It's worded a little weird because you're going first in combat, right? So the enemy isn't "attacking again", but "attacking twice", yes? The mention of using armour for "BOTH ATTACKS" clears it up. Thanks for pointing this out, I would have never thought to check myself.
This is what I like to call "learning the hard way". 😆Things went exactly as you would imagine for someone with next to no armor - poorly! I blew through a ton of healing potions/salves/prayers 😅 Lets just say, in the end, I did learn! Now if only I could find something more valuable than dust, dirt, and cheese! I have some amazing 🙄treasure rolls. Lucky for me level 4 is being much kinder with the loot! 🤑
Fantastic...I did get up to the point where you start blowing through your potions lol. I'll watch the rest tomorrow. Very please ep 1 has done so well. You diserve more subs my friend. @@CeePhour
@@TobyLancaster_DR_Games It was just brought to my attention that I was doing potions during combat incorrectly. I pinned the comment here so hopefully people see it and do it correct. It sounds like enemies get to attack twice when the player uses their combat round for a potion. I was not giving them the extra attack! d'oh!
Great series. I think you have a fantastic setup that really helps keep track of the action. Even if you die please continue the series ive been hooked. 😀

Still watching and enjoying. Very entertaining. I’ve tried a few solo rpg’s over the years and haven’t found one that completely grabbed me. I’ve been starting on 2D6 Dungeon and I think it might be the one that really engages me. Keep the videos coming!

Slowly watching/listening to these at work. You help entertain my night. Keep up the good work.
Your math in town is incredible
Loving the content Craig…watching it still but initially I thought you might get some armour?

@@CeePhour Using a potion is basically your action 🙂

Glad you're enjoying this (I am too!), and thank you. I always wonder if anyone out there sees these beyond the first one 😅

Bought the PDF of the system. I hopefully will get a chance to play some before I hit retirement
Plenty of time to play before then! Just have to make the time my friend.

You're ahead of me, I can't seem to understand the solo RPG stuff yet, but this game is bridging the gap for me and being great fun while doing it.
