I’ve always enjoyed listening to the King singers from the first group created in 1968 until the one now in 2021. I was fortunate enough to see four lineups here in Denver Colorado, and I’ve been joyed every single one of them.

Paul is in the limelight and makes the group glow. He gets inside of the music as he becomes the instrument on a solo riff. Such joy & genius. I couldn't stop smiling : )

This is so odd, I used to be friends with Pauls son and go round their house sometimes, this is the first time I've looked up his dads choir. They're wonderful! I had no idea he was so talented.

It seems like the audience is simultaneously trying to clap, snap or be silent, but it doesn't know how to do any of those.
I'm part of this audience :) We've clapping, but in some times stop because want to hear and see how they singing. And to don't have problems until the performance. :) :) :)

Most audiences are told/encouraged to clap and/or cheer at most inappropriate times for tv programmes, probably by the producer(s) but the problem is most people have no idea how to do it in unison and it ends up a total mess so I totally agree with you.

Definitely a mistake at 2:30. Paul wasn't supposed to go doop doop doop right there and he kind of trails off. He recovered from his mistake quite nicely though. Otherwise a great performance. Stephen will be missed of course, but Jonathan seems to sound pretty good as well.
