well thats the reason manufacturers just bring in ckd or cbu bikes untill the demand for that segment increases...less than a decade ago the norm was pretty much 150 cc motorcycles and anything above 180 was considered super premium but today the market has swiftly moved towards the 250ccs

The ZX-25R is actually reminiscent of the inline 4 250cc sportbikes of the 80's. Since most people had license permits till 250cc and could not go racing, the 4 giants saw this gap to be filled and brought in their 250cc models. If one of the giants make a move, the other 3 will also definitely do as the 250 bridges the gap between 150 and 400-500cc class.

Honestly, I'd take a 300 twin over a 600 inline four. Rode both, the 600 just isn't usable on the street - no torque, and it can go 100 kph easily in 1st. You don't need that power on the streets, ESPECIALLY in India.
